With the distribution of medical information to over 160 million people in the United States, the Internet has been rapidly changing the consumer’s view of medicine by providing a key opportunity for consumers and patients to become actively involved in the provision of his or her health care. While the growing availability and use of Internet health information and social networking tools can benefit consumer awareness and participatory medicine, such tools may also expand the chance of consumer health risks associated with misleading information and studies showing that only 1 out of 40 self-diagnosis results in a visit to a physician

The basis of this paper draws on the theory of health production functions and the hypothesis that each person has control over his or her health outcomes through various healthcare behavior choices. More specifically, the assumptions in paper were that the outcomes (output) of diabetes care are determined by a person’s compliance (input) to his or her medication regiment. One key factor of compliance, as shown in the studies presented herein, are the costs associated with compliance – primarily the cash payments (co-pays) that patients must pay for every prescription. Of particular interest is the understanding of the health outputs provided in the studies presented herein relate to the patient health input, which in this case is noncompliance due to co-pay, and if and how they can be associated and applied to the production function.

The event was held in Bedminster, NJ, and was sponsored by ACHE-NJ and Cegedim Dendrite. It brought together experts from around the globe to help attendees better understand practical issues, benefits and challenges of EHR adoption, including interoperability, reimbursement, and more. Dr. Kennedy Ganti, the New Jersey Health IT Commissioner, was a keynote presenter as well as one of the guest panelists. I have received many emails from people unable to attend this event due to time, date or location who wanted access to this presentation - so here it is! The keynote presentations and introduction by the panel moderator, Michael Fossel, are presented in this slide deck. (NOTE: A link to the recorded event - including the infamous panel of experts who received major applause and kudos at the conclusion of the event - will be available soon!)

Influencers are key resources in the commercialization of products and companies… The question is why? The answer is that they have large “NETWORKS” of listeners and other thought leaders who are influenced by them. This means they can rapidly achieve mass diffusion of information; mass product acceptance; and mass product adoption

1) You need to attended two shows, they shows are only 15 minutes long. For each show seen you need to write a paragraph summarizing the shows you saw. The first show we attended was hard to understand what diver is trying to say, they mention it also because the water of that tank is so chili. The diver mentioned that a lot of species are living in this tank, which some are benthic and some are pelagic organisms. They mostly talked about the pelagic organisms in that tank. They chose white sea bass as far as giant sea bass and briefly explain about them. There were thousands of sardines and between them the diver point to the fish called half-moon which it was bigger and silver moon. Half-moons are the feeder of red and green algae, also they can eat some small invertebrates like sponges, crustaceans, and anemones. We were told about the giant bass history in Santa Barbara island, which the scientist didn’t see the organism approximately for forty years but the person who was carrying out the show saw it. She mentioned that scientist by creating a space for these organisms in about thirty or forty years in the nice protected area in the ocean to have no pressure in hunting not even boat driving, they wait for a long time for this species to coming back to protected area and scientists of all over California taking pictures of those animals. The diver also talked about the spots of giant sea bass that we could see on the side of fish that they are specific each and individual. At the end, he said white sea bass are more open ocean than giant sea bass. The second show we attended was more interesting for me than the first one. We explored bunch of animal that live there, and talked about some of the organisms that are important and have right force in everything on that tank. We waited for diver to join us to communicate with him. He worn a special mask that allowed him to talk with us. The presenter talked the way that they feed animals, which it was so interesting, the diver goes to target animals and feed them to get the proper diet. The diver mentioned there are six hundred different fishes are living in this tank. The exhibit was so big with 350000 gallons of water. There were two species of shark in that specific exhibit, but they were not like hunting sharks as we see in television. There was an animal that shark close related to which is ray. We saw a diver was feeding those new rays. Rays are related to sharks but they look different. The fishes live in that tank were bony fish and have skeleton. One of them was napoleon wrasse. This organism has a unique adaptation, they all are female and they can change itself to male which this transformation takes about a year. Looks like the name of this fish comes up from the shape it has, because there is a bump on its head that’s why calling it a napoleon wrasse. Bubbles also are another bony fish, that loves to be part of presentation. This fish loves the bubbles and for entire presentation.

I need help summarizing a research article!! I need to summarize an academic article in 500 words or less and the paper is confusing me. The paper is on Ctneophora and how they are related to other animals. Can anyone help me Interrupt this article? I linked the article. file:///C:/Users/malge/Downloads/PNAS-2015-Whelan-5773-8-1%20(1).pdf Solution Definition of Ctenophora: Soft, transparent, dioplblastic, marine metazoans with out nematocysts, but with adhersive colloblasts and eight meridional ciliated combplates called Ctenophora. Features of Ctenophora: Ctenephores from an animal phylum that is more complex than sponges, about as complex as cnidarians (jellyfish, sea anemones etc.,) and less complex than bilaterians ( which includes almost all other animals). Unlike sponges, both ctenophores and cnidarians have : cells bound by inter- cell connection and carpet- like basement membranes; muscles; nervous systems; and some have sensory organs. Ctenophores are distinguished from all other animals by having colloblasts, which are sticky and adhere to prey, although a few ctenophore species lack them.Like sponges and cnidarians, ctenophores have two main layers of cell that sandwich a middle layer of jelly- like material, which is called the mesoglea in cnidarians are ctenophoress; more complex animals have three main cell layers and no intermediate jelly- like layer. Hence ctenophores have traditionally been labelled diaploblastic, along with sponges. Ctenophores have a type of muscles that , in more complex animals, have three main cell arises from the middle cell layer, and as a result text books classify ctenophores as triploblastic, while other still regard them as diploblastic. Ranging from about 1 millimeter (0.039in) to 1.5 meters (4.9) in size, ctenophores are the largest non- colonial animals that use cilia as their main method of locomotion. Most species have eight strips, called comb rows, that run the length of their bodies and bear comb- like bands of cilia, called ctenes, stacked aiong the comb rows so that when the cilia beat, thosee of each comb touch below. The name ctenophores means comb- bearing from the Greek meaning comb and the suffix meaning carrying. Types of Ctenophores Oceanic ctenophores: In addition to the relative well- known coastal ctenophores, there are many species found only far offshore near the surface, or in the mid- water or in the deep sea. Although the ocean seems rather uniform, each species is representative of only a small portion of the water column, defined by a combination of water temperature, light availability, depth and other factores- many oceanic cternophores species are found under similar conditions world wide. Oceanic ctenophores tend to be much more fragile that coastal species, because they do not need to tolerate wave action or the turbulence and sediment load of coastal water. Some of them have fastastic, unlikely shapes. Recognizable species include the lobe- flapping Ocyropsis, which.

Corals are marine invertebrates in class Anthozoa of phylum Cnidaria typically living in compact colonies of many identical individual "polyps". Corals are gastrovascular marine organisms. Each one of these animals is known as a coral "polyp". Coral Polyps are tiny, primitive marine organisms. A single polyp has a tube-shaped body with a mouth which is surrounded by tentacles. The polyp of hard corals produces a stony skeleton of calcium carbonate which form the base. Often the skeleton forms a cup-like structure in which the polyp lives. Coral polyps in colonies make up the cora reefs.

Because observability is such a broad topic – and often something we learn on the job – it can feel like there’s too much to learn at once. But you don’t have to tackle everything and can start with the basics and build from there! Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack. No matter what tooling is in place, there are still observability fundamentals that developers should know. That’s why I’ve put together a primer on the different telemetry types, when to use them, how to understand the data journey, and what to look for in time series graphs.

Generative AI refers to a class of machine learning algorithms that are designed to generate new data samples that are similar to those in the training data. Unlike traditional AI models that are trained to recognize patterns and make predictions, generative AI models have the ability to create entirely new data based on the patterns they have learned. This is achieved through techniques such as generative adversarial networks (GANs), variational autoencoders (VAEs), and transformer architectures, among others.

Slides for my "WebRTC-to-SIP and back: it's not all about audio and video" presentation at the OpenSIPS Summit 2024. They describe my prototype efforts to add gatewaying support for a few SIP application protocols (T.140 for real-time text and MSRP) to Janus via data channels, with the related implementation challenges and the interesting opportunities they open.
