During his tenure with Carborundum Universal Limited, Chennai (CUMI), as the General Manager
(corporate planning) he has facilitated setting up CUMI America, Net Access India, Southern Energy
Development Corporation (SEDCO), Huecera Ceramic Colours, and acquisition of Prodorite Anti-
Corrosives. Later, as Vice President, he managed the operations of SEDCO, and Huecera. He served
as a corporate officer (planning & acquisitions) at CUMI, director on the board of Prodorite Anti-
Corrosives Limited, and chaired the CUMI Golden Jubilee celebrations.
During his tenure with the Texas Instruments Inc., has consulted on Information Engineering,
Architecture Development, and has conducted over 4000 hours of workshops on Information
Strategy Planning, Business Analysis, Business Reengineering, and Managing Radical Change to
Fortune 500 corporations. His key clients include EDS, Union Pacific Railroad, Ericsson, Federal
Express, American Airlines, Blue Cross Blue Shields of Florida, South Western Bell etc to name a few.
Mr. Ramesh is a frequent speaker on Business/IT Management topics at various B-Schools,

Education
KV is an engineering graduate of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, where he majored in
Electrical Engineering. He also holds an MBA from University of Dallas, Braniff Graduate School of
Business Management, Irving, TX in International Business. He regularly attends executive education
programs at the leading business schools in India and the USA to keep himself current & relevant.
