Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease
caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to
moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment.
4. 4
Limiting face-to-face
contact with others is the
best way to reduce the
spread of Coronavirus
disease 2019 (COVID-
19).
Stay at least 6 feet (about 2
arms’ length) from other
people.
Do not gather in groups.
Stay out of crowded places
and avoid mass gatherings.
5. Coping with
stress during a
COVID-19
outbreak will
make you, your
loved ones, and
your
community
stronger.
5
Stress and Coping
Take breaks from watching, reading, or
listening to news stories, including social
media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly
can be upsetting.
Caring for Children
Watch your child for any signs of illness and
stress in your child
Household Checklist
Create an emergency contact list including
family, friends, neighbors, carpool drivers,
healthcare providers, teachers, employers,
the local public health department, and other
community resources.

The Coronavirus has changed how we
work, play and learn: Schools are
closing, sports leagues have been
canceled, and many people have been
asked to work from home. Here are
few areas to mention on which this has
affected intensely:
Environment
Economy
Education
Health-care Services
Food Habits
Fashion Significance
Social Media Platforms
7. FOOD SECURITY
7
The lockdown has disrupted food supplies and threatens
to trigger a food crisis
Life will hardly remain the same when we get to the
other side of the Covid-19 pandemic. Economists and
social scientists are predicting lasting changes in the way
we live, work and eat.
More than half of India's workforce engages in farming,
while agriculture contributes some 16% to the country's
GDP. India is one of the world's largest producers of
crops like rice, wheat, sugarcane, cotton, vegetables and
milk. Now there are concerns that stopping farm activity
will not only end up hurting farmers and labourers but also
affect food security.
8. Cleaner Food …
8
After being home quarantined Social Dining
trend has vanished and Cooking at Home
trend started.
Every disaster carries with it the seeds of
opportunity.
There may be renewed interest in slow food, as
something to be created in personalized ways.
People are already showing huge interest in sharing
recipes, cooking tips and pictures of home cooked
meals on social media.
This can be harnessed to create businesses.
9. Food hygiene
9
Keep up fruit and vegetable intake.
Swap in healthy dried or canned alternatives
when fresh product is not available.
Build up a stock of healthy snacks.
Limit highly processed foods.
Make cooking and eating a fun and
meaningful part of your family routine.
10. 10
Indians seem to have
genetic and regional
advantages in fight
against Coronavirus.
During Coronavirus
outbreak Embrace
Aayurveda, Functional
foods, Yoga and some
healthy habits to keep
your body immune to the
virus attack.
12. Fashion Trend…
12
People will not step into shops and malls as they are
typically crowded with social distancing becoming the new
normal.
Mass exodus of migrant workers amid the pandemic could
add to the delay in revival once the lockdown is lifted.
At this time of physical lockdown, Fashion industry experts
are demanding brands to adopt crucial digital tools:
“Real-time collaborative design and product
development software solutions, 3D digital clothing
sampling and virtual fit sessions and digitization of tech
packs to manage fit and material libraries for future
collections.”
13. Digital Marketing
13
Social media is
becoming a curated
haven of fashionable
face masks,
matching lounge wear
and colourful
slippers.
How will these
lockdown trends
develop and
moreover, what will
happen to fashion
post corona?
Without having
a catwalk of
pavements to
present curated
outfit combos
on, fashion
enthusiasts are
now desperately
grappling at the
seams of
indoor-wear as
an output for
creativity.
14. 14
Fashion post-corona
could follow suit in the
form of sweeping,
colourful fabrics,
maximalist shapes, bold
co-ordinates and
unrestricted silhouettes.
The difference
from recent trends,
however, will lie in our
altered mind-sets.
