1. Target Audience
For our opening sequence the target audience will be older teenagers through to their
twenty’s, 14-28. This is because it is a horror, so little children will not be watching the film,
also I do not feel like horror would appeal to many older people, due to the fact that horror
is a niche genre the age line will be naturally limited. Due to mine and the others in my
groups ages being 16 and 17 it makes sense for the target audience to be like us and our
friends, so we know what to include. My ideal audience member who would go to see the
movie will most probably be a group of female/male friends around the ages of 15-18. I feel
like if they have had previous issues with mental disorders or any one in their family has
then it would make the film more exciting and scary for them.
