My targetaudience formycomedy/horrorfilmisagirl aged
around16-24. I have chosenthisgenderasgirlsare more likely
to watch a funnyhorrorrather than a scary horror as it’smore
relaxedasgirlsgetmore scared.Theyare alsomore interested
inthese typesof filmsratherthanscience fiction,drama,
adventure.Iagedher16-24 as I thinkthatyoungeragesget
more scared to wouldpreferacomedy/horrortheyalsofind
more thingsfunnysowouldenjoyitmore. Iwouldputthis
target audience classasa lowermiddle class(C1) astheyaren’t
watchinga seriousfilmorthoughyoudo needtobe smart
enoughtofindthe comedyinit humorous. Ithinkthiskindof
personislikely tobe workingasa receptionistastheywouldbe
kindand funnytopeople tobringintheirlikingforcomedy.I
thinkthiskindof personwouldbe laidbacktherefore notmind
the use of bad language,alcohol use andinappropriate scenes
beingat a youngadult. I have chosenthisaudience asIthink
theyfitbestwithmygenre.I wouldgive mycertificate a16 or
underbecause the age range I gave formy targetaudience
wouldbe as low as a 16 therefore itwon’taffectmyaudience
as I thinkthese people won’tneedbadlanguage,inappropriate
scenesandalcohol use to findthistype of filmenjoyable.
