2. Game Premise
• You and your friends become stranded in a
small, abandoned town. Your group is
captured and brought into an isolated house
surrounded by woods, where three killers are
bent on murdering all of you. You, the
protagonist, manage to escape… but before
you can leave, you must confirm the status
and whereabouts of your friends, gather them
together, and escape with them while fending
off the killers.
3. Game Genre
• This game is a survival horror and role playing
game, played in the first person with an
option for multiplayer mode, where several
players try to gather together to escape. There
will also be an option for some players to take
the role of one of the killers.
4. Game Play
• Each room in the house will have some kind of
objective (for example, finding an item or clue,
rescuing a friend, etc.) and will require the
player to complete that objective before they
can leave that room. If the objective is left
incomplete, the player is trapped in that room
indefinitely.
5. • Your character is able to hold one item at a
time. Items include weaponry, flashlights,
objects that can distract or divert the killers,
etc. The detection system is sound-based; the
game will be very audio-intensive, and you will
have to listen for the killers as they approach.
Your character will be able to take cover in
bushes and behind furniture to hide from the
killers until they pass.
6. • You can have varying levels of success
depending on how many of your friends you
can rescue before they are killed. Rewards for
saving friends exist both during and after the
game; in gameplay, friends can help you fend
off the killers, hold extra items, and provide a
greater range of hearing/detection. The
number of friends you rescue also affects the
story told in the epilogue.
7. The Killers
• Leatherface: a man with a chainsaw. He is
easily detectable due to the sound of his
weapon. He is able to kill you with one hit, but
runs slowly and can be avoided.
• Man with a knife: exactly as labelled. He can
use bush or furniture cover to ambush you
and is much quieter than Leatherface, but he
also deals less damage. He can be fended off
with a weapon.
8. • Grandpa: an older man in a wheelchair. He
patrols the main floor of the house and serves
as an alarm system to attract the other killers’
attention to the player.
