From the results from our
questionnaire we can see that most
people thought that our radio
trailer was professional in terms of
the codes and conventions. This
shows that the radio trailer was like
a real media products in the fact
that the radio advert was short,
contained sound bites and had
relevant background music.
3. What did you like about the radio
trailer?
When asked this question, most people said that they liked the sound bites
that we put in the radio trailer from the documentary. This shows that we
chose the right sound bites as they attracted the audience into wanting to
know more about what the interviewee was saying.
Also some people said that they liked the background music. This shows that
the background music was effect as we chose ‘killer Queen’ as a cigarette can
arguably be describe as a ‘killer queen’ as people are drawn to them, despite
the consequences.
4. Were there any parts of the radio trailer you
disliked or felt could be improved upon?
When asked if there could be any improvements to our radio
trailer, many of the 10 people that we asked said that the
quality of sound could have been improved as the voice over
was louder than the sound bites used.
5. Do you feel that the music used in the
trailer was suitable?

asked, all agreed that the music
was suitable. This shows that our
chose of music was effective as
we chose ‘Killer Queen’ as it gave
a serious tone to the radio trailer
which suited our serious tone of
the documentary.

radio trailer was effective in
catching the audiences
attention and presenting
questions that they would
want answers to, but would
only receive by watching the
documentary
