towards the end to close flat. The highlight of the day was SBI steller q1 show. Beating estimates SBI posts 137% rise in Q1 Net.
However Non Performing Assets (NPAs) rose to nearly 5% triggering a sharp fall of its stock prices.
SBI Result: The State Bank of India recorded a Net Profit of Rs. 3751.56 crore (up 136.91%) on Net Sales of Rs. 28916.69 crore
(19.50%). The NPM improved to 11.57% as compared to 5.71% on y-o-y basis. The stock lost about 4.26% on BSE during the day.

BPCL Limited: For the period while the Net Sales increased by 18.22%, Net Profit dipped by 244.93% and thereby NPM reduced to
16.20% as compared to 5.55% on y-o-y basis. The stock ended up 3.22% on BSE today. (Featured Result)

The volatility as denoted by INDIA VIX lost 1.59% at 16.07 from its previous close of 16.33 on Thursday.
