Amid range bound trading, Indian markets ended in green on positive global cues. Markets across the globe were buoyant on upbeat
earnings reports by U.S. tech & other firms and Bernanke’s optimistic comment about Fed’s readiness to inject stimulus.
Hopes of reforms by Indian government post Presidential elections also buoyed up the sentiments of Indian investors.
Meanwhile, CRISIL and Kotak Mahindra Bank Q1 earnings failed to enthuse the investors.
Kotak Mahindra Bank: For the period while the Net Sales increased by 36.55%, Net Profit grown by 12.07% and thereby NPM reduced
to 13.73% as compared to 16.17% on y-o-y basis. The stock was down 2.51% on BSE today. (Result)
CRISIL: For the period while the Net Sales increased by 7.21%, Net Profit grown by 7.46% and thereby NPM improved marginally to
25.08% as compared to 25.02% on y-o-y basis. The stock was down 3.41% on BSE today. (Result)
