basis. FMCG and rate sensitive indices topped the charts on sectorial front.
On the global front, US markets edged higher with S&P 500 index made a record high above 1600 mark. Asian
markets were largely positive whereas European indices were decisively trading in positive territory.

Allahabad Bank plunged 4.78% on BSE after registering 68% decline in Q4 net at Rs 12.61 crore. (Result)
GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd spiked 2.63% and made fresh 52 week high at Rs 2522 on BSE on reporting
38% growth in Q1 Net at Rs 16.90 crore. (Result)
Emami Ltd reported 38.89% in its Q4 net profit at Rs 91.14 crore. The stock closed 2.31% on BSE. (News)
Jubilant Life Sciences jumped 1.14% on BSE after reporting a Net Profit of Rs 99 crore in Q4 in comparison to a Net
loss of Rs 63.5 crore YoY.
Glenmark Pharma’s Q4 Net rose 7% at Rs 160 crore. The stock closed 0.83% up on BSE.

The CNX Nifty gained 72.50 points or 1.21% to settle at 6043.55. The index touched high and low of 6050.50 and
5982.95 respectively. 42 stocks advanced against 7 declining ones on the index.
S&P BSE Sensex CNX Nifty
The S&P BSE Mid-cap index moved up to 6504.85 and gained 0.84% while S&P BSE Small-cap index jumped up by
0.60% to 6126.49.
The broader S&P BSE 500 index increased to 7533.35 (up 1.04%) and CNX 500 index rose to 4737.55 (up 1.11%).
The volatility as denoted by INDIA VIX gained 4.17% at 16.50 from its previous close of 15.84 on Monday.

On the BSE Sectorial front, FMCG (up 2.00%), Banks (up 1.80%) and Real Estate (up 1.40%) were the top gainers.
There was no loser among BSE sectorial.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd (up 3.65%), Bharti Airtel Ltd (up 3.14%), ITC Ltd (up 2.73%), Tata Motors Ltd (up 2.58%) and
Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (up 2.23%) were the top gainers on the Sensex.
Coal India Ltd (down 1.73%), Wipro Ltd (down 1.50%), Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd (down 0.61%), Maruti Suzuki India
Ltd (down 0.07%) and Tata Power Company Ltd (down 0.05%) were the top losers on the Sensex.
