1. Costume - Actors – Props
Costume
The costume I have chosen for my music video is:
I have chosen this outfit because it will be comfy for my actor to be in for a long period of
time, meaning if there are any outtakes they will be happy/warm.
Another reason for choosing this outfit is because it is seen as stylish in a modern society so
therefore will fit in with a casual day to day style music video, it also features a lot of
clothing that the stereotypical audience of Drum & Bass music would wear as discovered in
my genre research Prezi. This means that the fans/audience will be able to relate to the
video and should therefore appeal to them.
Actors
CallumGroves (main character)
I have chosen my friend Callumfor my music video because I only need one
actor by who the story will be based around. I have chosen him because he is
very confident meaning he won’t get camera shy and he won’t get
embarrassed having to act in very emotional ways with lots of facial
expressions.
In my opinion having only one actor is a huge benefit to me because as the
director, because I can focus all my attention on him and will not have a chaotic scene
where I would need to make sure numerous people are doing the right thing. It should also
mean less outtakes and preparation leading to a very efficient filming period.
