2. PLACING AN IMAGE INSIDE OF
TEXT
This is the example I found for
reference which I have tried to
recreate on Photoshop. I followed
the step by step and managed to
create this effect using my own
photo and text. This effect is useful
for album titles as well as posters
and merchandise.

The first step was to get an image of a
scenery which I got and was a picture I
took at the headland. Then I had to
create a new layer which I then could
work with but without erasing the
background. I then used the color fill to
make one of the layer a solid white color
because of the text.
I then used the text tool and used in
on layer one and typed down
headland. Then I adjusted the size
and proportion and moved it around
the the image till I was happy with it.

This is what the text looked like
on the image. The text was in a
bold Ariel font as I wanted the
image inside the letters. I then
moved it around and positioned it
at the center of the image.
This was the part which it
would make the image fit
inside the text by using the
clipping mask tool.

This is what happened to the
layer I added the clipping
mask tool it erased the
background image and
applied it inside the text.
This was an optional part of
the Photoshop tutorial where I
added a drop shadow to my
title to make it more realistic
and make the image look like
its coming out of the text.
7. BLENDING PHOTOS
This is an example I found which
I wanted to do but using my
photos. The tutorial was fairly
simple as it was basic tools used
in this Photoshop tutorial. This
effect could be used in album
covers and posters.
8. This was the first image I used as its
my main one and focus which I
wanted to blend in with subtle image.
This was my second image which I
wanted to blend my photo into. This
is a scenery image from the
headland.
10. GHOSTING AN IMAGE
This is the example I have on that
Photoshop tutorial. This tutorial mainly
focuses on the effect of the image and
almost looks blurred and stretch out.
This could be used on anything maybe a
horror style movie front cover.
11. This is my image I used for the
tutorial I did. I choose this as the
effect worked best on a person clos
up. The tutorial was a little hard but I
eventually managed it.
