Molds fall under kingdom Fungi and grows in the form of multicellular hyphae.
Molds in general do not fall under specific taxonomic or phylogenetic groups. They can be found
under the divisions Zygomycota and Ascomycota. Previously, most molds were classified under
Deuteromycota.
