Project Description:
The emergency repair of an 8-inch sanitary sewer line in Little River Turnpike and Backlick Road replaced a severely
defective 8-inch concrete sewer pipe with a new PVC pipe to prevent sanitary sewer overflows in the travel lanes of
Little River Turnpike and Backlick Road in Annandale. The improvements are expected to reduce the frequency of
required maintenance and reduce the risk of a sanitary sewer emergency in a busy roadway. This project was
substantially complete on September 2, 2020.
