How does our desire to make a model (wave/particle) hinder our understanding of quantum mechanics? what alternatives do we have for making a physical model? Solution Quantum mechanics is actually the modified version of classical physics. Classical physics deals with the macro particles, or large sized particles. To analyses the motion and properties of micro particles like electrons we need quantum mechanics. So when we are discussing their properties, they are showing both particle and wave nature ( de Broglie relation). So more time they are Like unacceptable imaginations. Instead of physical models, we need to create small assumptions and theories. I think that alternating physical models are unavailable..
