Dear 300 Entertainment,
We are Between the Strings, a small independant band, who has 4 members (Harry, Jake,
Luke and Reuben). We are Four students who attend Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College
(QE). We are writing to you to ask for permission to use the song ‘Bonfire’ by The Hunna.
We would like to use this song for our media coursework, we will only be using the
soundtrack of the song not the video. We shall not be using this song for anything other than
educational use, we will not be trying to plagiarise your company's name, music and most
certainly your artists music. Our coursework is a promotional package for a new band
consisting of a music video, website and 6 panel digipak. The forms and conventions will link
through out the promotional package creating a noticeable theme throughout.
We will be using this track for educational purposes, for our coursework as stated earlier.
However we will be publishing this video to youtube but it will be unlisted so only certain
people can view it. We will also be embedding the video into the website that we are going to
create a wix.com. We have previously messaged The Hunna on their facebook page and
stated this information in a brief paragraph in which they replied saying they look forward to
seeing it when it is complete. Therefore we are happy to share the final video with you for
your viewing.
We messaged the band asking for any tips and they really liked the fact we are using their
song. They are looking forward to seeing the finished article and have been really nice to us.
