Location I will take my photos at school in the drama studio as
I do not need a specific background and the drama
studio has a plain white wall and floor, therefore it will
give a more professional look to my photos as it will
look like an actual photo studio backdrop and will
mean less work post-rpoduction cropping out the
background.
I will also take the photos for the contents page
in school, possibly in the music department to
have musical instrements in the photos. I will
try to take all the photos I need in the same day
to manage time as well as possible.
I will take this photo in a few locations (in
school) and choose the best one. I will take one
in the drama studio, one outside by the chapel
wall as the wooden panals maymake a good
background.

Why?
The main image on my front cover will be a mid shot
of a boy that suits the stereotype of the rock genre
(beard, long dark hair)
His costume will be quite casual clothes maybe a
branded t-shirt, brands such as vans (as seen on my
mood board). I do not need any props for my main
image as it will just be a mid-shot of a boy.
I will need a closeup photo of myself for the
editorial column on the contents page. Due to
the genre of rock this image should be a ‘silly
image’ maybe pulling a face. I will also need a
large main image possibly trying to recreate an
on stage look, so I will borrow a guitar from the
music deparment.
For my double page spread I will need an
image of 4 boys (boy band). They will need to
fit the stereotype of the rock genre. The image
will be a long shot as I would like to have their
whole bodies in the shot, and possibly be
jumping in the air (as if on stage in concert). I
will not need any props for this shot. The
costume will be fairly casual as most rock
bands wear very casual clothing.

I do not need to contact anyone for permision to take
the shots.
I have asked kier if he will be the model for my photos
and he has agreed to this.
I will need to ask the music department if I can
borrow a guitar for a prop in my images.
I will need to ask the people I have in mind for
the photos if they would be happy for the
photos to be taken and included in my media
coursework. See photography plan.
Potential Hazards/Risks

Why?
Risk assesment:
I can not see any potential risks or hazards involved
in taking my photos as they will be carried out in a
safe school enviroment.
The only thing is to make sure no other students are
about so that we do not disrupt what they are doing
and also to make sure we look after the equipment
such as cameras and tri-pods.
If I borrow instruments we will need to be very
careful not to damage them as they are
expensive.
I can not forsee any other risks involved as we
will be in school.And we will be covered by the
schools insurance.
Risk:
 Be careful taking the shots of them
jumping on stage. In case they fall.
Also take care of the equipment we
wil be using.
