Getting
Started
Getting to the stuff you need:

 Log
    in to ERNIE
 and find the Edit
 Webpage box in
 ERAU Tools.


  If   this is the first time logging on:
    Disable  your pop up blocker and check “Always
     Trust…” if you see a security warning.
    If you see Internet Explorer Security Alert – Click “Yes”
Once you are logged in you will see:
Creating a
Contact
Navigate to a file:
You will want to put your contact in the file associated with the
page you want the contact to appear on

1.   Click the + next to
     “Worldwide”
2.   Click the + next to
     “campuses-
     online”
3.   Click the + next to
     “us”
4.   Click the + next to
     your region
Inset Contact
1.   Right click on the file
     you want to insert
     your contact in.
2.   Select New Item
3.   Select Contact
4.   If you get a Security
     Information screen
     next select
     “Always trust content
     from this publisher”
     and click Run
Add Content
 System  Title
 should be the
 first and last
 name of the
 contact,
 divided by a
 dash
    Example:
     first-last
Add Content
 Contacts
         for location
 pages need:
    First Name
    Last Name
    Position (or title)
    Email

 Contacts
         for region
 pages need:
    First Name
    Last Name
    Position (or title)
    Email
    Primary Phone
Insert
 When   you are
  done adding
  content click Insert
  at the bottom
 After the page
  refreshes click
  closed
Preview
1.   Right click on the
     contact you want
     to preview
2.   Select WW Preview
3.   Select P-Contact
4.   Verify your
     changes
Publish
1.   Right click on
     the contact
     you want to
     edit
2.   Select
     Workflow
3.   Select Return
     to Public
                      Seeing your changes on the live
                        site typically takes 2 hours,
                           but can take up to 24
Comment and complete
 Aftersending to
 publish, you will
 have the option
 to leave a
 comment.
 Quickly note
 what you did
 and click Ok.
Editing a
Contact
To navigate to a page:
1.   Click the + next to
     “Worldwide”
2.   Click the + next to
     “campuses-
     online”
3.   Click the + next to
     “us”
4.   Click the + next to
     your region
Select the page and
Set the workflow
1.   Double click on the file
     associated with the
     location you need to
     edit.
2.   Right click on the
     contact you want to
     edit
3.   Select workflow
4.   Select Move to Quick
     Edit
Edit
1.   Right click on the
     contact you want to
     edit (once more)
2.   Select Edit
3.   If you get a Security
     Information screen next
     select
     “Always trust content
     from this publisher” and
     click Run
Edit
 The  next screen you see
  is the edit screen.
 At this point you can
  make changes to the
  information
 When you are done
  click update at the
  bottom
 After the page refreshes
  click closed
Preview
1.   Right click on the
     contact you want
     to preview
2.   Select WW Preview
3.   Select P-Contact
4.   Verify your
     changes
Publish
1.   Right click on
     the contact
     you want to
     edit
2.   Select
     Workflow
3.   Select Return
     to Public
                      Seeing your changes on the live

Adding a
Contact to a
Region page
Navigate to a the region page:
1.   Click the + next to
     “Worldwide”
2.   Click the + next to
     “campuses-
     online”
3.   Click the + next to
     “us”
4.   Click the + next to
     your region
Find Content ID
 Before   you can insert your contact
  you need to find your Content ID for
  the contact you plan to insert.
 Write it down
  for use during
  the next step
Select the page and
Set the workflow
1.   Double click on the file
     associated with the
     region page you need
     to edit.
2.   Right click on the
     Department page
     in this file
3.   Select workflow
4.   Select Edit
Edit
1.   Right click on the
     contact you want to
     edit (once more)
2.   Select Edit
3.   If you get a Security
     Information screen next
     select
     “Always trust content
     from this publisher” and
     click Run
Insert Content
1.   Scroll to the bottom
     of the screen and
     click Edit All in the
     Related Content
     Section
2.   Select Bottom Index
3.   Click the Search tab
Insert Content
 Insertyour Content
  ID that you have
  written down in the
  Content ID field,
  Make sure the
  dropdown says
  Equals
 Click Search
Insert Content
   Select the contact
    that comes up
   On the next screen
    select
    S-Contact(right) and
    click select
   Use the action
    buttons to delete or
    rearrange listings
   Click closed on this
    window
Update/Close
 When   you are done
  click update at the
  bottom
 After the page refreshes
  click closed
Preview
1.   Right click on the
     page you want to
     preview
2.   Select WW Preview
3.   Select P-
     Department
4.   Verify your
     changes
Publish
1.   Right click on
     the contact
     you want to
     publish
2.   Select
     Workflow
3.   Select Direct
     to Publish
                      Seeing your changes on the live

Add edit contact

  • 1. Add or edit contacts on Worldwide.erau.edu
  • 3. Getting to the stuff you need:  Log in to ERNIE and find the Edit Webpage box in ERAU Tools.  If this is the first time logging on:  Disable your pop up blocker and check “Always Trust…” if you see a security warning.  If you see Internet Explorer Security Alert – Click “Yes”
  • 4. Once you are logged in you will see:
  • 6. Navigate to a file: You will want to put your contact in the file associated with the page you want the contact to appear on 1. Click the + next to “Worldwide” 2. Click the + next to “campuses- online” 3. Click the + next to “us” 4. Click the + next to your region
  • 7. Inset Contact 1. Right click on the file you want to insert your contact in. 2. Select New Item 3. Select Contact 4. If you get a Security Information screen next select “Always trust content from this publisher” and click Run
  • 8. Add Content  System Title should be the first and last name of the contact, divided by a dash  Example: first-last
  • 9. Add Content  Contacts for location pages need:  First Name  Last Name  Position (or title)  Email  Contacts for region pages need:  First Name  Last Name  Position (or title)  Email  Primary Phone
  • 10. Insert  When you are done adding content click Insert at the bottom  After the page refreshes click closed
  • 11. Preview 1. Right click on the contact you want to preview 2. Select WW Preview 3. Select P-Contact 4. Verify your changes
  • 12. Publish 1. Right click on the contact you want to edit 2. Select Workflow 3. Select Return to Public Seeing your changes on the live site typically takes 2 hours, but can take up to 24
  • 13. Comment and complete  Aftersending to publish, you will have the option to leave a comment. Quickly note what you did and click Ok.
  • 15. To navigate to a page: 1. Click the + next to “Worldwide” 2. Click the + next to “campuses- online” 3. Click the + next to “us” 4. Click the + next to your region
  • 16. Select the page and Set the workflow 1. Double click on the file associated with the location you need to edit. 2. Right click on the contact you want to edit 3. Select workflow 4. Select Move to Quick Edit
  • 17. Edit 1. Right click on the contact you want to edit (once more) 2. Select Edit 3. If you get a Security Information screen next select “Always trust content from this publisher” and click Run
  • 18. Edit  The next screen you see is the edit screen.  At this point you can make changes to the information  When you are done click update at the bottom  After the page refreshes click closed
  • 19. Preview 1. Right click on the contact you want to preview 2. Select WW Preview 3. Select P-Contact 4. Verify your changes
  • 20. Publish 1. Right click on the contact you want to edit 2. Select Workflow 3. Select Return to Public Seeing your changes on the live site typically takes 2 hours, but can take up to 24
  • 21. Comment and complete  Aftersending to publish, you will have the option to leave a comment. Quickly note what you did and click Ok.
  • 22. Adding a Contact to a Region page
  • 23. Navigate to a the region page: 1. Click the + next to “Worldwide” 2. Click the + next to “campuses- online” 3. Click the + next to “us” 4. Click the + next to your region
  • 24. Find Content ID  Before you can insert your contact you need to find your Content ID for the contact you plan to insert.  Write it down for use during the next step
  • 25. Select the page and Set the workflow 1. Double click on the file associated with the region page you need to edit. 2. Right click on the Department page in this file 3. Select workflow 4. Select Edit
  • 26. Edit 1. Right click on the contact you want to edit (once more) 2. Select Edit 3. If you get a Security Information screen next select “Always trust content from this publisher” and click Run
  • 27. Insert Content 1. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Edit All in the Related Content Section 2. Select Bottom Index 3. Click the Search tab
  • 28. Insert Content  Insertyour Content ID that you have written down in the Content ID field, Make sure the dropdown says Equals  Click Search
  • 29. Insert Content  Select the contact that comes up  On the next screen select S-Contact(right) and click select  Use the action buttons to delete or rearrange listings  Click closed on this window
  • 30. Update/Close  When you are done click update at the bottom  After the page refreshes click closed
  • 31. Preview 1. Right click on the page you want to preview 2. Select WW Preview 3. Select P- Department 4. Verify your changes
  • 32. Publish 1. Right click on the contact you want to publish 2. Select Workflow 3. Select Direct to Publish Seeing your changes on the live site typically takes 2 hours, but can take up to 24
  • 33. Comment and complete  Aftersending to publish, you will have the option to leave a comment. Quickly note what you did and click Ok.
