2. Throughout the making of our product we used
a variety of different programmes from the
research stage to the distribution stage.
Social media played an important part in the
process, YouTube and Blogger being two sites
we used regularly.
We found that using a wide range of good
quality technologies was essential to the
production process
3. YouTube proved very useful in the
research and planning stages of the
production. We could easily look at clips
from other films that we were
studying, and save them to refer back to
later. It also helped us to share our own
film when it had been made.
4. We frequently used Blogger to present
our work to each other and also to show
it to other people, While it was useful in
that we could embed pictures and
videos as well as referring to each
other’s planning documents, it also
allowed people to give feedback our
progress.
5. We conducted most of our work on iMac
computers. These were particularly very
useful at the editing stage: not only
because of the quality of the computer but
also because of the ease of use and the
size of the monitor. My personal laptop is a
Macbook, so I found it easy to use and work
from both.
6. It was important that the video camera we
used was not only fairly simple to use but
also that it could film in good quality and
could easily export videos onto the
computer. The camera filmed in HD,
improving the quality of the film and
therefore making it more appealing for the
audience.
7. Sites such as Prezi, Slideshare and
PowToon were useful in using different
types of media to present this evaluation
It was important to learn how to use
different forms of media in order to create
and evaluate the product.
