Science 7 - LAND and SEA BREEZE and its Characteristics
Evaluation 5
1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
2. During the planning part of magazine process I used
Photoshop, powtoons, PowerPoint, word and prezi to
name a few.
I felt that because the camera was such high quality the
use of zoom and Photoshop became as easier process.
The clarity allowed me to adopt photos and be more
creative in the editing process. During the photo-shoot I
then felt I was able to try new angles and shots and not
be afraid of loss of quality. However, I did find the green
screen hindered my project as the green was hard to edit
out. I also found that when in the photo-shoot I could use
the feet area due to lack of green screen at the time.
3. I used Photoshop to edit my print product photographs,
although the result was good in the end I found the process
rather difficult. The use of green screen made it difficult to
edit it out of hair. I found myself cutting it down and re editing
it in. This was more hassle than it needed to be. I used this
also to edit blemishes and smooth makeup. As my model had
good skin I found this wasn’t as necessary to use. To make her
more appealing to the female audience I also edited down her
waist and arms to make the clothes she was wear look
slimmer and more appealing.
I used social media to get people to see and display my work, I
launched it on their in the media form of a Google docs
questionnaire.
4. The green screen and Photoshop I found
difficult, especially when it came down to using
text and fitting it in. the amount of layers I used I
found difficult to manage. I also found the
internet software of powtoons and prezi difficult
to use as it would shut down and freeze etc.
