7. COMPUTER GRAPHIC DESIGN 1 & 2
Various challenging projects were given such as movie poster
design, image tracing , magazine cover design, vector arts ,
photo manipulation and more. I also got better at enhancing
and colour adjusting images. Although, I had to redo and improve
lot of works because I wanted to achieve better grade but it was
a fun experience. I believe that my skills can be used in graphic
designing in the industry.

10. E-PUBLISHING [ WEB DESIGN ]
This was really one of the toughest subject I learnt. The softwares
were very challenging and difficult to understand as some coding
needs to be involved. But, I did learn a lot and explore better ways to
design a website. I learn to create icons, thumbnails and images
suitable for websites and learn some CSS coding. My knowledge can
be used on web designing in the future.

12. PHOTOGRAPHY 1 & 2
I learn quite a lot about the mechanism of camera and lens in
this class. It was a very eye opening experience as we get to
venture outside and take pictures at different location during
day and night time. I also learn about photo composition
properly and creative dynamic angles for better picture
outcome. I then learn how to colour grade from tutorial videos. I
hope to put my set of skills into event or wedding photography.

16. VIDEOGRAPHY 1 & 2
This was by far my favourite subject and I had lots of fun learning
everything. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to actually
produce short film and music video using green screen. I also learn to do
text tracking, frame removal technique and try out some other fancy
plugins. The lecturer was very forgiving and helpful in guiding us when we
encountered mistakes. I’m eager to learn more and put my skill into
video production in the industry someday.

19. NGO CAMPAIGN [ E.R.T ]
Our self-hosted campaign focuses helping the poor
unwanted kids as well as educating them about
recycling.
The shelters owner also requested us to teach and
inspire them about design. We tried our best to
bring happiness through fun activities and let the
kids have a good time with us!

20. Although there was conflict during the planning
phase , the campaign worked out well in the end. We
all struggled and cooperate together and the event
was a success. We helped them clean up houses too.
The poor kids and family were happy and our
organizers ( http://www.shelterhome.org/ ) was
satisfied and grateful. It was truly an eye
opening experience.

23. VIDEO EDIT FOR FRIENDS
Since I don’t really get any freelancer job, I always volunteer myself to
help my friends to edit videos. Example, my friend in another college
needed someone to compile and edit his footage into a more comedy
oriented skit for his group project, or sometimes my friend needed
someone to record and photograph their event or trips.

25. I would say one of my greatest honor is getting approved to serve at FGA
CYC. Although it might be a church, but the atmosphere here is different
from “ churches you see in movies” .
FGA is one of the biggest and trendy church in Malaysia, despite it being a
church, the standards set here are high. There are lots of ministry to join
and I’m grateful to be a part of the Multimedia Crew.
For now, I’m a camera operator and camera assistant but I
used to assist in video edits for some short
video productions.
