2. When getting the images for my girl band I
attempted to use the green screen. However
the creases in the material meant that it
would be impossible to edit the images to the
standard I wanted. So in the end I used a
white wall which made it a lot easier to edit
and also gave me more room to manoeuvre
my artists as they wasn’t stuck to just the
height and width of the green screen.
3. After doing GCSE media and creating a
fashion magazine for that, I already knew
how to use Photoshop which made it easy
for me to edit my images. I have used
Photoshop on all of my magazine pages and
also all of the images used in my magazine.
The erasing techniques and blemish remover
made it simple to give my artists the
professional look that you would find in most
magazines. Obviously there will always be
problems with Photoshop, there are so many
things you can do that it can be hard to find
the effects you need but once you know and
have learnt, it made my magazine
construction a lot easier.
4. For the first time, I used blogger to keep up
to date my media work online. I sound it
easy to use and also an easy way to keep you
work organised. I did have some problems
with blogger at first with not knowing how
to upload PowerPoint's or images, but after
find out how to use slide share it all became
very simple and easy to use. However, I
didn’t enjoy working with slide share as I
think it took a lot of creativity out of the
audience research process. Media is a
creative subject and that is the key reason I
chose the subject, and last year it lived up to
my expectations with out folders of work
giving the leeway to decorate and be
creative with our analysing. However with
blogger I feel you can only do what the
computer allows you, unfortunately making
most peoples work the same and unoriginal.
