2. After researching my trailers, The Woman In
Black was the only film advertised via
magazine. The magazine ‘Diabolique’ is a
magazine based upon the horror genre, the
magazine front cover includes the main
character Arthur Kipps played by actor
Daniel Radcliffe. The tagline used is ‘Daniel
Radcliffe in Hammer’s the woman in black’ ;
Hammer’s is used as it is the company
which have produced the film. The main
colours used within the cover are white,
black, red and blue. Red could be used as a
connotation of blood, and is only used to
highlight the title and one specific name.
The cover lines are evenly place between
the cover image, and the same colours are
used repetitively; I think the magazine does
continue the same theme throughout.
