2. Concept of Alienation & Isolation
 Concept of alienation involves the psychological and social
ills that an individual carries naturally or inherits as his/her
personality traits from society.
 As usual there are three factors that cause the ill of
alienation: Subject, Object and the behavioural norms
between them.
 It is the behavioural norm that decides either association or
dissociation between subject and object.
 Thus, these reflective variants that cause breaks, splits,
indifference and meaninglessness.
 However, the most important out of these is the sense of
emotional distancing, for it creates a psychological Ill
creating a stress and strains in the deeper recesses of
human psyche.
 These are the causative effects that bring forth the sense of

 Society breeds certain inner traits of human personality and an
individual from time immemorial shapes his/her workability and
relational bonds. And so he/she thinks of creating the movement and
vision of his/her life.
 As a matter of fact, when an individual is compelled to withdraw forcibly
the instincts and behavioural development, he feels compressed due to
the reduction in the normal sensory and social input.
 For example If one makes an depth comparison between the two
cultures: the East and the West.
 Usually, the psychological traits in the Eastern culture can be levelled
as introversion of human thinking while the cultural traits of the Western
society brings the concept of extroversion into operations.
 Thus, the cultural traits being developed by an individual shapes his
/her temperament; the clash between two temperamental modes brings
forth the clash that remains operative in society; and it thus brings the
syndrome of anxiety, depression, aggression, loneliness creating the
adverse effects on human personality
