1. I created a survey on survey monkey in order to gather real audiences taste and
trends. I used survey monkey as I thought that it would be a reliable and easy way to
receive feedback as the software allows me to post it on social media. Once I had
created my survey I posted it to Facebook because I thought Facebook would be a
good way of receiving a wide range of people’s opinions. Here are the results I
received:
I think the questions I used were very varied and allowed me to have a good overall
idea of different people’s opinions. Although my results may be biased as my family
and friends are of a similar age, however I still managed to receive a wide range of
results. However overall most of the people that completed my survey were females
aged 18 and under. My results showed that most people prefer a physiological type
of thriller, and the music they usually expect to hear in a thriller was tense.
Moreover they also showed that most people enjoy the tension of thriller films, due
to a huge 70% chose tension as what they enjoy the most.
