2. You know how people have that ironic saying in their mind- ‘them kind
of things don’t happen to people like us’, Asif they are living in an
imaginary world and are safe from everything bad that the world could
possibly throw at them, because they are just so happy and positive.
Everything bad was oblivious to them. We’re them people.
It’s the year 1998, Harper and her family are all gathered around the
dining table, the atmosphere surrounding them was so loose and
blissful. Harper had just received her letter revealing her acceptation
into the University she had dreamt of her whole life. They were all so
carefree, nothing could possibly ruin the spirit of happiness this
innocent family had.
However what they did not realise, was what was awaiting them. How
just ONE day was going to change their lives forever, and turn their
worlds upside down. Just ONE day. A young happy girl’s life full of
potential, just took away in the matter of minutes, by someone who
was so unpredictable and close enough to be able to watch their every
move. Yet they were just so blinded.

3. Target Audience
My target audience for my opening scene is mainly
young teenage girls around the age of 16-17, due to
the fact that my main character is a young girl, who
is oblivious to the bad things that can happen,
therefore its raising awareness of the things that
can happen to people of her age. Moreover I have
also chosen that specific age group, due to the fact
that when I carried out my survey over Facebook,
the most popular age group for who watched
thriller films was 16-17, therefore I thought it
would be a good target audience to choose.
