moved into the PYP Planning meetings

  • 6. Who Cares? O Stronger focus Trans-disciplinary skills O Transition to MYP and their assessment of the ALT’s O Addressing the feedback from the PYP Evaluation (Nov 2013)

Planning for Inquiry O Single Subject integration meetings will be moved into the PYP Planning meetings O Single Subject classes will (at least) integrate into two UOI’s (evidence of integration on UOI Planner) O Thursday afternoons-Meet the needs of the school and Single Subject teacher meetings
  • 8. 1st to 4th week of UOI Discuss result of tuning-in Use of formative assessment data to inform inquiry Review summative How are you using student questioning in lesson planning? Specialist integration (both ways) 1 Week before UOI begins Discuss activities that truly tune-in students to the central idea Integration with specialist All agree on summative task 2-3 Weeks before the UOI begins Review the CI, Lines of Inquiry, Conceptual Understandings, Specialist Integration Begin brainstorming using student data, personal experiences and relevant content
