Oakinawa Diet Analysis
Dan Buttner claims that it is impossible for Americans to live past 100 years old, and be healthy
without chronic disease. He states excerise, community and an individuals diet contributes to a
greater life expentcy. I belive this to be true, if an individuals takes good care of themeselves they
can prosper to be a Centenarin. Buttner state Sardinans that live off the coast of Italy do not excerise
in the same way that Americans do. Most Americans go to the gym, Sardinians walk or ride bikes,
but mostly walking to get to the store, to church or even a friends house from time to time. They

How Does The Lottery Change Society
In the story "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson towns people in a small village gather to select a
sacrafice. The main idea of this story is change something in society if you dont like it. This is
shown by people naglecting the black box, other towns giving up the lottery, and people protesting
when they are chosen. The black box in the story shows that people dislike the lottery, because they
are letting the box fall apart. If the towns people wanted the lottery they would probably take better
care of it. By the towns people naglecting the box it shows that they want to change thier society by
letting something they dont want fall apart. This is shown on page 2 "By now it was no longer

Persuasive Essay On Early Childhood Education
Beggining ones education young, prepares one for the future. Early education has been proven to be
beneficial in many aspects throughout life. Children may dread the idea of starting early but in the
long run starting early can make a significant difference. Also some may even be ahead of his/her
peers in the following years. Early childhood education should be a requirement due to the ability it
has to help gain early skills, necessary positive behaviors, and increased brain development.
Children dont have to go to a legit child care facility to get an early education. Early childhood
education comes in many forms most of the learning starts at home. "Playing with your child helps
keep your child engaged in the kind of play where learning occurs. Your interest, questions, and
comments as you play alongside will help your child use toys productively,"(How to Support
Children's Approaches to Learning?). In saying that children learn best through play based
experiences they learn from things they experience or items they can touch and hold. Children learn
from the comments thier parents give, they pick up on the little things. Children who don't
participate in some type of quality education programs are 50 percent more likely to be placed in
special education. Children are also 25 percent more like to dropout of school and are 60 percent
more likely to never attend college. 40 percent are more likely to become teen parents ,and finally
70 percent more likely to become a teen parent.
Not all children comprehend things at the same level, that's why it is so important to teach them
basic skills young so later on throughout life certain tasks will not be so hard for them. Children can
also gain life skills just by doing simple things such as working puzzles. While working the puzzles
children gain problem solving skills as they try and fit the pieces together and figure out what goes
where, it also develops a sense of persistance.(How to Support Children's approach to learning?).
Children need to learn the basic skill of problem solving because it is needed for tasks throughout
life whether it is a math problem or real life problems. Persistence is needed in many situations
where the child may want to

Jick's Ten Steps To Implementing Change Process
Change is inevitable but is not accepted by most people. Implementing change can be a daunting
task because it can be embraced in a positive way or negative way. As a leader, it is hard to
determine whether the change will help improve production or slow down work processes. In our
text, it list several ways to implement change that can make the transition an easier process. Jick
recommends his list of Ten Commandments. The first, is to analyze the organization and its need for
change. This obviosuly is the first step in implementing change. I feel that when changes are
necessary communication needs to come form the top down. When things are communicated openly
thier is less tension among employees and supervisors. Second create a shared vision

Tips On How Successful People Organized Thier Closet
Tips on how successful people organized thier closet
Organizing our closet is a standout amongst the most effective action we can do to enhance our
image and our way of life! Organizing our closet does no good if you don 't make it usable.
Going with a standard thought on how a wardrobe or closet function can leave you wishing that you
had accomplished something different. Certainly, it may look impressive at to begin. However, it
will gradually return to the way that it was if you don 't customize the store and make it a closet that
meets your particular needs.
By disposing of clothing that no more fits, exhausted, or needing repair, we are stepping toward

astute to keep our closet free of these potential hazards.
Train yourself not to hang up any clothes that require:
Repairs or changes
Laundering or dry–cleaning
Ironing or steaming (to expel wrinkles)
Removal of sticker prices Clothing that is beyond repair or outdated should be expelled or removed
from your closet and disposed of it.
Separate these clothes into two piles:
Clothing that will be given to philanthropy or granted to kids for playing"dress up."
Clothing that you are unwilling to part with for nostalgic reasons. (For these clothes, you may wish
to make a "memory box.")
2. The following items must be wiped out from your closet:
Any elements that are not something you wear (for instance, blessings, photos, sports gear, baggage,
or furniture). Locate a permanent home somewhere else for those things.
Any dress that:

Do you know that sport injuries can be a lot more worst then you think. "The young athlete is not a
smaller version of an adult. Children's bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments are still growing,
making them more susceptible injury"("The psychology of sports injuries").This is a hudge prblem
because most children don't have chance of griwing right or maby they won't be able to play games

by making thier bones and thier hold body stronger and the way we cat do that is to educate people,

sports injuries can range from scrapes and bruises to serious brain and spinal cord injuries, most fall
somewhere between the two extremes. Here are some of the more common types of injuries"
("National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and skin diseases")Like sprained ankles, broken
leg or arm,and pulled muscle. But it can get more serious, like they might not be able to play or

Witchcraft is a very strange topic. When someone uses the word witch craft i typically think of
witches flying on brooms or stirring up magical potions. In Salem on the other hand witchcraft was
more of like an excuse, basically girls were going around spreading words about other people that
they were bewitching there houses and or loved ones. These kind of things still occur in our modern
day lifes and you probably don't even notice it. Everyone tends to use an excuse or blame the
problem on something or someone else everyday. The fact is people don't even notice it. Take for

Describe The Relationship Between Paul And Philemon
1.The book of Philemon is the shortest manuscript Paul wrote, it reveals the operation of slavery and
the valuable relationship between Paul and Philemon. The scriputurs of Philemon accumulate to no
more than a page in length and targets one essential issue. The Bible proposes that the book of
Philemon was written at a time when Paul was in Prison, the letter was written to one specific
person instead of a church. Paul's letter to Philemon was in desire of giving a new precipitation on
the topic of one of his slaves name Onesimus. Onesimus was a slave to Philemon who had robbed
and escaped from his owner, in the regards to his purpose of running he reached out to Paul for
support. "The shortness of this distance seems improbable, for Onesimus would have known that he
might easily be captured so close to home." P.456*** ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His manuscripts expressed the reality of rightous proception in faith and it's purpose to confronting
it to the dynamics of the world. Paul wrote Philemon in reason of defusing the reality of Onesimus

his reaction of Onesimus return."Paul promises to pay Philemon the financial loss caused by
Onesimus theft."P.455*** Paul's historical factors display the concern to the situation of Onesimus
going back to his owner, making these scriptures a historical note of extending the message of God's
grace. "Paul asks a Christian slavemaster named Philemon to receive kindly, perhaps even to
release, his recently converted runaway slave Onesimus, now returning."

Environmental Summary: The Great White Shark
Environment
The Great White Shark, scientifically known as the Carcharodon carcharias, was possibly 2016's
scasriest fish. The Great White shark's environment was the aquatic marine biome, and it usually
lived off the coasts of Australia, South Africa, and California. Although thier usual habitat was
shallow coastal waters, Great Whites have been recorded in depths up to 3,900ft. The climate of the
water they lived in was between 54 and 75°F. The limiting factors of the shark's habitat were the
nutrients and oxygen levels in the water. The Great White shark was the largest predatorial fish in
the whole world. The Great White shark shared the ocean with about 440 other species of sharks, but
its only natural predator was the Killer Whale, or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The most promient feature was the 300 triangle shaped teeth in multiple rows that were designed to
rip apart the flesh of thier prey. Another adaptation of the Great White was its impeccable sense of
smell. These giant carnivores can detect one drop of blood per 25 gallons of water. They even had
special organs to detect the electromagnetic field that the movement of living animals produces.
These particular sharks are so sensitive that the can pick up variations as small as half a billionth of
a volt. This shark's coloring was also a carefully selected adaptation due to natural selection. They
had a grey dorsal area and a white belly. When viewed from the side, the color change broke up the
sharks silhouette, making it more capable at blending in with the mottled water. This is all because
of natural selection. For example, the sharks with the colorings that stood out the most would die
from lack of food, while the grey and white sharks would keep surviving because they could blend
into the water more. So the Great White sharks inherieted thier coloring from thier ancestorsThe
ecological niche of the Great White shark was to control the food chain, because it was at the top of
it's food chain and could control how the population of its prey increased and

Thier Equine Therapy
Horses, like many other animals, have been used in wide ranges of therapy such as trauma therapy,
assisting people with disabilities, and even prisons or weight loss programs (Colclasure). In special
facilities, equine therapy programs have even expanded to treat mental illnesses such as eating
disorders. One ranch specifically has made progress in this area and can be used as an example to
showcase the effectiveness. Remuda Ranch in Arizona opened a program for patients with anorexia,
bulimia, and binge eating disorder. The owner of the ranch had the idea after he noticed the crucial
role that horses played in his daughter's own recovery in 1990 (Colclasure). Their program has

The story "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien is a story of Vietam soldiers and the things
they carried; itmes of necessities of war protection, items of function of rank and field specialty,
personal mementos and their feelings. The author depicts the load "to carry something was to hump,
but it implied burdens", burdens each soldier carried while moving through the physical and

the physical and emotional impact of war and how each soldier coped while carrying items of

Companies and Thier View on Social Networking

years social networking has started to grow into a bigger entity, almost now to a cultural level. It's
now to the point where younger children have started to use these forms of social networking such
as Facebook to connect with friends or to update what they are currently doing. For example with
Facebook, its main function is to keep people connected and intertwined to ensure that friends are

with these basic definitions of privacy, how would the company explain how they were going to

never gave the company permission to view his Facebook profile and also what gives the company
the right to do so. Facebook has served as a way to express ourselves, so what happens when we do

While its impossible to ignore the monetary costs of building a dog park the quality of life

extremely important to thier well being. Many dogs live sheltered and alone which goes against thier
natural instincts, this can and will cause them to be afraid of other dogs and humans causing attacks
out of fear. Giving all dog owners access to a dog park allows those seemingly aggressive dogs the
chance to integrate with other dogs and lower aggression and prevent attacks.

Leonardo Drew's Art Style
Leonardo Drew's artwork is brilliant and very original. He uses lines perfectly to dictate the flow of
the peices he is working on. This causes his artwork to not at first have meaning but the longer you

wood and debris. From the tiny slivers of particle board to gigantic branches every peice is
important to the overall work. He uses these peices to create an overall shape based off of an image

Why Do Children Need Creative Play
There are many different styles in wich childeren use their free time, such as playing duck, duck,
goose, building club houses, and creating imaginary world's to rule as they please. Some parents
utilize that free time to enroll thier kids in sports, music lessons or group activities. In todays age
most children are involved in some sort of technology, that consumes most of thier free time. So by
letting children play wether it be creatively or organized, that experience can be a stepping stone to a
bright and healthy future. When childs lives are filled with controlled activity, they need creative
play to express who they are. Organized activities are very structured and usually have rules and
decisions made by adults. Creative play is more hands on. Using materials the children can interpret
how they see fit, and only thier judgment or imagination are the building blocks. Parents involved in
creative play is important. Wether they let their children make the decisions or simply give them
secluded time to find and use thier own creativity for innovation and problem solving. ... Show more

The Effect Of Procrastination On GPA
In conclusion, my hypothesis was incorrect. People who procrastinate the most does not have a
higher GPA than the people who procrastinate the least. The data shows that the average GPA of
people who procrastinate the least is 3.98 while people who the most is 3.23. It is clear that
procrastinating have lowers GPA. Procrastination does not have a positive effect on GPA. An
extraneous variable could be that student failed their classes that resulted in lower GPA. They had
sports to play in school resulting in procrastination. the survey looked bad and they did not get it
seriously. They put down random numbers since they might have been bored with the surveys. The
class is AP so they would worker than the people who are not in AP classes. Also,

The Importance And Heart Of Service Be Required In America
The importance and heart of service should not be require in America. The reason is beacuse people
should be free to choose how and when to serve. Mandatory will hurt the growing of volunterring.
volunterring is better then making it mandatory in America First, people should be free to choose
how and when to serve and not be require. When people volunter by heart and not require they
reduce stress, be confident and have happiness in thier life. On the other hand, making citizens serve
would bring alot of people anger and hurt. Second, mandatory will hurt the growing of volunterring
because it will be another government job. America would have to pay the citizens who serve a year

4th Amendment Pros And Cons
I truly believe that the first amendment is the most valuable and crucial to our society today.
Personally, the aspect of free speech and right to petition and assemebly gives this country a unique
power to it's people that many oppressed people around the world wished they had. Just recently in
this country we have had assemblies such as Occupy Wall street, Alt–Right/Neo Nazi rallys and so
on. In many countries, governments and the powers that be squash any vocal crtisims or opposing
opinions that don't follow thier ideals such as Russia, North Korea, and so on. I come from Egypt
and I have family that were terrified of speaking out against Morsi and his regime. Even though i
don't aways agree with what people are saying, I truely respect and cherise my rights and others
rights to speak thier minds. However, i also do believe that free speech has been under attack by
both liberals and conservatives to further thier own agendas, it's both ironic, hypocritical and very
scary. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Dead Poets Society Response
Movies around the world are a great type of entertainment. Through them, directors are able to
convey their moods, thoughts, and beliefs to sculpt their masterpiece for the overal enjoyment of the
public. Writers, too, have been able present this through the syntax of thier poems. 'Dead Poets
Society' is one of these movies that has been made to present thoughts and worldly themes. In the
'Dead Poets Society', the theme of 'society has influence on how one should be' is also present in the
poem "Mirror". In the movie 'Dead Poets Society', this theme of how society dictates one by how
the students lives are dictated. Although many aspire to be more, or different, than what their parents
and teachers are pushing them to be, the are captive to thier peer's dictation. Niel Perry, for example,
wants to be an actor while his father is heavily pushing him to be a doctor. Distraught, his father
sees no other choice to remove him from school to make sure his wishes come true. The teachers,
likewise, are also captive to societal standards. When Mr. Keating introduces original thinking and

Middle Class Inequality Analysis
In pondering the question of inequality in the United States rising or falling; it must first be asked
how would it be decided or what is considered equality? However, before answering these questions
I will address two articles that present a difference in opinion on the subject of the middle class
surviing or dying out. The first article I will address was wrote by Steven Pearlstein on the
information provided by Stephen Rose in the New York Times. It was a bit dificult to find strong
arguemnets in this article supporting his belief of the middle class surviving. However, there are a
few things mentioned in the article that did make a good point. Pearlstein (2007) wrote, " $44,500 is

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Throughout our lives we're influenced by many. It can have an effect on the way we view issues
within societal boundaries. One of the major influences children have in their lives comes from their
parents. The parents of a child can have both a positive and a negative influence on their lives. In the
novel "To Kill A Mockingbird", there are two excellent examples of how parents can be
a major influence on their children. Atticus Finch, father of Jem and Scout Finch, plays the loving,
kind and knowledgeable father. He is an example of how parents can have a positive influence on
their children. Bob Ewell, father of Mayella Ewell, plays the drunken, abusive, and neglectful father.

Bob Ewell however, neglects his children and fails to provide his children with much needed love
and care. He indirectly teaches his children to hate and be critical towards people of colour. In
chapter 17, Bob Ewell is cross–examined in the courtroom, and is asked several questions. When he
is asked if he is the father of Mayella Ewell, he replies, "Well, if I ain't I can't do nothing about
it now, her ma's dead" (Lee, pg.174). This is one example of how Bob Ewell does not display
emotion towards his children and their well–being.
Many important characteristics of one's personality can be passed down to their children. A child
can learn to be courageous from examples that are set by the people that surround them. True
courage is taught to Jem after Mrs. Dubose dies. Atticus reveals to Jem that he was using her as an
example to teach him about true courage; "Mrs. Dubose won, all ninty five pounds of her.
According to her views, she died beholden to nothing and nobody"... "I wanted you to
see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's
when you know that you're licked before you begin, and you begin anyway" (Lee, pg.116). In
saying this, Atticus teaches Jem that true courage is when you know that your chances of
accomplishing somthing are very slim, but you try anyway. Atticus sets examples himself when he

Contrast Essay Between essays Just Take Away Thier Guns...
"Just Take Away Their Guns" is an effective argument than "I Want a Wife." James Wilson gives a
more factual, organizational and better language used argument than Judy Brady.
In "I Want a Wife" Brady is stereotypical of what she believes to be the roles of the husband and
wife. Also Brady's essay is one sided, she never states a side that would argue her viewpoint. While
Wilson shows two clearly stated sides of his argument. The first reason as to why ?Just Take Away
Their Guns? is more effective is because the essay has more specifics and facts that can?t be
refutable. The president wants more gun control but the public says the laws will fail who is right?

He is correct in his statement. Based on a household survey, Gary Kleck, a criminologist, has
estimated that every year, guns are used – that is, displayed or fired ? for defensive purposes more
than a million times, not counting their use by the police. If his number is correct, Wilson states that
the number of people who defend themselves with a gun exceeds the number of arrests for violent
crimes and burglaries. The main goal to keep in mind is that we should try to find a way to cut back
on how guns are used illegally. Wilson says that one way to cut back on the illegal gun use and gun–
carrying is to have the police frisk people. The fourth amendment clearly bans all ?unreasonable
searches and seizures?, but the police can get around this, if they have ?reasonable suspicion?. Who
is to say their suspicion is any more different than ours? Just because they think their more
knowledgeable in deciding if something is wrong. Wilson tells us that the police have certain codes
which must be followed in order to make an arrest or to frisk someone. People who flee at the
approach of an officer, a person who fits a drug carrier profile, a motorist stopped for a traffic
violation who has a suspicious bulge in his pocket, a suspect identified by a reliable informant
carrying a hand gun. Who to say that these codes are even good codes? What if I was jogging to a
street corner and it was my usual spot where I would turn around and run back to my house, but

healthy in ther appearance. Not only in school was this true, but throughout my day I found that I
seemed to judge people in my head before interacting with them. By judging these people before
talking to them, it destroyed any realtionship I may have made with them. Although I did find it was

The main idea of this story is change something in society if you dont like it. This is shown by people naglecting the black box, other towns giving up the lottery, and people protesting when they are chosen. The black box in the story shows that people dislike the lottery, because they are letting the box fall apart. If the towns people wanted the lottery they would probably take better care of it. By the towns people naglecting the box it shows that they want to change thier society by letting something they dont want fall apart. Children may dread the idea of starting early but in the long run starting early can make a significant difference. Also some may even be ahead of his/her peers in the following years. Early childhood education should be a requirement due to the ability it has to help gain early skills, necessary positive behaviors, and increased brain development. Children dont have to go to a legit child care facility to get an early education. Early childhood education comes in many forms most of the learning starts at home. "Playing with your child helps keep your child engaged in the kind of play where learning occurs. Your interest, questions, and comments as you play alongside will help your child use toys productively,"(How to Support Children's Approaches to Learning?). In saying that children learn best through play based experiences they learn from things they experience or items they can touch and hold. Children learn from the comments thier parents give, they pick up on the little things. Children who don't participate in some type of quality education programs are 50 percent more likely to be placed in special education. Children are also 25 percent more like to dropout of school and are 60 percent more likely to never attend college. 40 percent are more likely to become teen parents ,and finally 70 percent more likely to become a teen parent. Not all children comprehend things at the same level, that's why it is so important to teach them basic skills young so later on throughout life certain tasks will not be so hard for them. Children can also gain life skills just by doing simple things such as working puzzles. While working the puzzles children gain problem solving skills as they try and fit the pieces together and figure out what goes where, it also develops a sense of persistance.(How to Support Children's approach to learning?). In our text, it list several ways to implement change that can make the transition an easier process. Jick recommends his list of Ten Commandments. The first, is to analyze the organization and its need for change. This obviosuly is the first step in implementing change. The Great White shark's environment was the aquatic marine biome, and it usually lived off the coasts of Australia, South Africa, and California. Although thier usual habitat was shallow coastal waters, Great Whites have been recorded in depths up to 3,900ft. The climate of the water they lived in was between 54 and 75°F. The limiting factors of the shark's habitat were the nutrients and oxygen levels in the water. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The most promient feature was the 300 triangle shaped teeth in multiple rows that were designed to rip apart the flesh of thier prey. Another adaptation of the Great White was its impeccable sense of smell. These giant carnivores can detect one drop of blood per 25 gallons of water. They even had special organs to detect the electromagnetic field that the movement of living animals produces. These particular sharks are so sensitive that the can pick up variations as small as half a billionth of a volt. This shark's coloring was also a carefully selected adaptation due to natural selection. They had a grey dorsal area and a white belly. When viewed from the side, the color change broke up the sharks silhouette, making it more capable at blending in with the mottled water. This is all because of natural selection. For example, the sharks with the colorings that stood out the most would die from lack of food, while the grey and white sharks would keep surviving because they could blend into the water more. So the Great White sharks inherieted thier coloring from thier ancestorsThe ecological niche of the Great White shark was to control the food chain, because it was at the top of it's food chain and could control how the population of its prey increased and ... Jonathan Lee Over the past few years social networking has started to grow into a bigger entity, almost now to a cultural level. It's now to the point where younger children have started to use these forms of social networking such as Facebook to connect with friends or to update what they are currently doing. For example with Facebook, its main function is to keep people connected and intertwined to ensure that friends are able to know what each other are doing. One of the major influences children have in their lives comes from their parents. The parents of a child can have both a positive and a negative influence on their lives. In the novel "To Kill A Mockingbird", there are two excellent examples of how parents can be a major influence on their children. Atticus Finch, father of Jem and Scout Finch, plays the loving, kind and knowledgeable father. He is an example of how parents can have a positive influence on their children. Bob Ewell however, neglects his children and fails to provide his children with much needed love and care. He indirectly teaches his children to hate and be critical towards people of colour. When he is asked if he is the father of Mayella Ewell, he replies, "Well, if I ain't I can't do nothing about it now, her ma's dead" (Lee, pg.174). This is one example of how Bob Ewell does not display emotion towards his children and their well–being. Many important characteristics of one's personality can be passed down to their children. A child can learn to be courageous from examples that are set by the people that surround them. True courage is taught to Jem after Mrs. Dubose dies. Atticus reveals to Jem that he was using her as an example to teach him about true courage; "Mrs. Dubose won, all ninty five pounds of her. According to her views, she died beholden to nothing and nobody"... "I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. James Wilson gives a more factual, organizational and better language used argument than Judy Brady. In "I Want a Wife" Brady is stereotypical of what she believes to be the roles of the husband and wife. Also Brady's essay is one sided, she never states a side that would argue her viewpoint. While Wilson shows two clearly stated sides of his argument. The first reason as to why ?Just Take Away Their Guns? is more effective is because the essay has more specifics and facts that can?t be refutable. Based on a household survey, Gary Kleck, a criminologist, has estimated that every year, guns are used – that is, displayed or fired ? for defensive purposes more than a million times, not counting their use by the police. If his number is correct, Wilson states that the number of people who defend themselves with a gun exceeds the number of arrests for violent crimes and burglaries. The main goal to keep in mind is that we should try to find a way to cut back on how guns are used illegally. Wilson says that one way to cut back on the illegal gun use and gun– carrying is to have the police frisk people.
