Robby Hayes Case Study
Robby Hayes didn't win the heart of JoJo Fletcher last night on The Bachelorette finale even though
he did fall in love with her. Robby was shocked that she didn't pick him in the end. He even shared
last night that at one point he thought that JoJo might have already sent home Jordan, but of course,
that wasn't the case. Robby didn't doubt for a second that he would be the one she picked. People
shared that Robby is now speaking out and sharing that he is upset about one thing other than not
winning JoJo's heart. She took something away from him that he can never get back.
Robby admits that he was shocked when JoJo didn't pick him. He said, "I was so caught off guard. I
was so confident in our relationship and my feelings for her. I had ... Show more content on

A source close to him shared that Robby is moving on and doing fine. He has had the help of his
family and friends during this hard time. The source went on to share saying, "The entire experience
was positive and Robby would do it again. Robby just wants JoJo to be happy and he knows she had
to make the right decision for her."
So far, ABC hasn't announced who will be The Bachelor next season, but it doesn't sound like it will
be Robby Hayes. JoJo mentioned both Luke Pell and Chase McNary as good people for the job.
When JoJo got second, and they announced her as The Bachelorette, this came out on the After the
Final Rose special. Only time will tell who ABC ends up picking to be the next guy who gets to
hand out roses.
Are you shocked to hear that Robby Hayes is upset that he can't share all of the things he shared
with JoJo for the first time with his future wife? Do you think that Robby Hayes would make a good
guy to be on The Bachelor? Sound off in the comments section below on your thoughts, and don't
miss Bachelor in Paradise when it starts airing tonight on ABC. Future episodes will be on Monday

Rutherford B. Hayes Essay
Rutherford B. Hayes was considered by many to be a simple, uncontroversial, and honest
man to run for the presidency. That is why many people are perplexed that such an astute person
should have one of the most controversial elections and presidencies ever. Considering Hayes'
honorable principles, it came as a surprise to see how he could unknowingly make a decision about
reconstruction where its effects were so blatantly derogatory to the cause he was trying to help.
The controversy began when he was merely running for office. Hayes was running against
Democrat Samuel J. Tilden. When the ballots were tallied in 1876, Hayes clearly lost the popular
vote, and had lost the electoral vote 184 to 165 . However, twenty votes ... Show more content on

He thought that the country and most white southerners would welcome a policy of moderation and
react by assuring rights previously granted only sparingly . Consequently, he thought that by
releasing troops from the last two remaining states would, "get from those states by their
governors, legislatures, press, and people pledges that the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and fifteenth
Amendments shall be faithfully observed; that the colored people shall have equal rights to labor,
education, and the privileges of citizenship" . His theory that the southern government keeps
their honor was severely disturbed by what was to follow in the near future.
An 1871 report to Congress says that in nine counties in South Carolina there were 35 lynchings,
262 black men and women were severely beaten, and over 100 homes were burned . To Hayes'
benefit, most people believed that he truly didn't foresee what would happen with his policy.
Professor John W. Burgess noted Hayes "greatest struggle which he had with himself ... was
the question whether he was deserting the just cause of the black man and delivering him back to
servitude" . There were actually mixed emotions about the topic all around. Evan William
Gillete agrees that, "the reaction of most northern Republicans ranged from enthusiastic relief
that the issue of the use of troops in the south would no longer intrude into every campaign, to
fatalistic acceptance of the necessity of withdrawal".

E. Holmes District
E. HOLMES DISTRICT – It takes but a quick glance around his office at Chestnut Ridge
Elementary to realize Principal J.T. Luneborg is a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Himself a
graduate of Otterbein College, Luneborg said his mother was a Buckeye. He 's been going to games
since he was a young boy, and this is the first year he can remember the family not having season
football tickets to the Shoe. Luneborg has been employed by the East Holmes Local School District
for 20 years, the last 11 of which he has served as principal. The Washington Courthouse native said
he was drawn to the area after meeting his wife, Kelly, at college. She hails from Sugarcreek.
Buckeye football is far from the only sport Luneborg enjoys. In high school, he, following in his
brother 's footsteps, played golf, basketball and tennis. And, while he still quite enjoys golf, on
average scoring in the low 40s, his time on the course is limited, and Luneborg 's sports interest have
shifted. He 's spent several years coaching both recreational and travel softball for his daughters,
Allison, 18, and Taylor, 12. "I enjoy it. I 've seen too many (coaches) who mean well, but don 't
know what they 're doing," said Luneborg, who enjoys working with and teaching his players. Even
today, girls he coached in the past come up and talk to him. It 's a good feeling for Luneborg, who
takes pride in "influencing them enough, they come up and say, 'Hi. '" The ball field also can serve

The Hayes-Tiden Analysis
The Hayes–Tiden standoff in 1876 started when Grant would not run for a third term in 1876. The
Republicans chose Rutherford B Hayes, from Ohio, to run for the presidency. The Democratic
nominee was Samuel J Tilden from New York. When the election results came in Tilden had racked
up 184 electoral votes of the needed 185(p360), with twenty votes left from four states, which had
previously had irregular returns (p360). Oregon went to Hayes, which left Florida, Louisiana, and
South Carolina up for grabs. All three states submitted two sets of returns one that favored the
Democrats and one that favored the Republicans. The compromise of 1877 was how to determine
which returns to use for each state. Before holding the inauguration, there

The Key Argument Of The Driving And Restraining Forces
According to Lewin's force field theory, he argued that any level of behaviour is maintained in a
condition of "quasi–stationary equilibrium" by a force field comprising a balance of forces pushing
for and resisting change. The aim of this literature review is to describe the key argument of the
driving and restraining forces that respectively promote or impede the success of company's
transaction; the review primarily uses an integrative analysis of studies and reviews from the Hayes
J (2014).
The studies reviewed revealed that driving forces for change, there was separated into internal and
external forces. The internal forces come from the inner company, business or organisation whilst
the external forces are at macro level where business don't have much control or influence.
Internal force:
The collected studies from Hayes J (2014) highlighted that "the sense of improvement" are
important driving forces for business such qualities include the emotional commitment and intention
to evolve business condition in a tough environment and in a competitive market in which it
operates. Profitability and performance is another important factors that drive business to change; in
addition, many companies were found to be promoted to change, where they need to reorganize to
increase efficiency and competitiveness. There is a number theories reviewed "business cycle" as
one of influences; in Hayes J (2014) study the author describe the decline stage of a business as a
point to change,

Personal Narrative Essay : The Worst Summer Ever
It was now Monday morning. My mother and I were standing in the airport. I was holding on to my
new suitcase, thinking of my ruined summer. I was still really upset with my mother. How come she
got to make all of the decisions, while I had no say in them?
"Izzy, be good to your grandmother. I am sure you will have a great time. Call me when you get
there," my mother said.
"Fine,"I said sarcastically, thinking to myself, you will have a good time, not me. I will have the
most boring summer ever!
She gave me a hug. I hugged her back, but I was still very angry with her. Then, I saw tears in her
eyes. Maybe, I thought, she will miss me. My flight was called. I walked towards the counter. I
sneaked a peek at my mom. She was just standing there quietly, with tears in her eyes.
I sat in my seat and pulled out my diary. I started a new chapter and titled it: The Worst Summer
Ever. Before I knew it, I landed in New Mexico. I got off the plane and grabbed my stuff, only to see
my grandmother waiting for me outside of the airport, ready to drive me home.
"Wow Izzy, look how big you've got! Last time I saw you, were half your size!"
She seemed so happy to see me. Now I felt guilty of not wanting to see her. I gave her a hug and off
we went. Nana had a ton of questions on our way home. She asked about my grades, mom, friends,
problems, favorite foods, and all kinds of things. She was trying to get to know me as well as
possible. I was looking out of the window and noticed changing

The North And The Abraham Lincoln
Civil War The north and the Abraham Lincoln argues that the main reason for the civil war was the
slavery, whereas, the South and the confederate state reasoned that the main causes of the war is the
state 's right and also southerners claimed that they are being treated unfair on the federal tariff and
taxes. The southerners wanted to secede from the Union and preserve their right and the northerners
wanted to keep the Union from breaking as well as they want to abolish slavery. The Civil War, or
the "War between the states," was fought on both moral and economic grounds. On the most unique
and modern war the world have ever seen, the north won the civil war because of their regional
advantages, population advantages, the better strategic approach towards war and the support from
the president. One of the most significant advantages the north (Union) had was regional advantage.
The Union held twenty–three states, including four border slave states, while the Confederacy
included eleven states. The population count was about 22 million in the Union to 9 million in the
Confederacy, and about 4 million of the latter were enslaved African Americans. The Union
therefore had an edge of about four to one in human resources. To help redress the imbalance, the
Confederacy mobilized 80 percent of its military–age white men, a third of whom would die during
the prolonged war (America, 655). An even greater advantage for the North was its industrial
development. The southern states

Rita Hayes Preliminary Investigation
In Detective Rita Hayes #1234 preliminary investigation reports, she describes vital evidence that
stand out to me. Which I consider rules out the option that it was an accident. The evidence found
could be used to prosecute the offender when found. In the preliminary investigation report there is a
sequence of event that happen in the report. It starts with Henderson Fire Department responding to
a residential fire. Upon arriving they make entry trough the main door which is secure at the time.
As they start to combat the fire the firefighter notice several thing out of place. While making their
way to the master bedroom they notice newspaper leading towards the room, along with the smell of
fuel. Once they reach the master bedroom they notice an individual laying on the bed dead and
burned without recognition. Later once Detective Rita Hayes starts her preliminary investigation
they realize that a Honda Pilot is missing from the premises. She also stablishes that the neighbor's
rear license plate is missing to their Honda CRV. One of the key indication that a homicide has been
committed was the newspapers and smell of fuel in the residence. The smell of fuel was an obvious,
since there is no explanation why fuel ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

that it was a new car because it still has the dealership plates on the vehicle. Three neighbors where

It was reported stolen to the Henderson Police Department on the same day. I think this is evidence
that the individual who started that fire is using the Honda Pilot along with the stolen license plate as

Analysis Of Bullying: Invisible By Hunter Hayes
Bullying is a cruel thing that people (mostly children/teens) do to harass other people that they do
not like. The picture is about a group of children who are picking on a boy younger or the same age
as them. The lyrics/video is called "Invisible" it's explaining that you are perfect just the way you
are. Don't bully people and you won't become a bully yourself. In the song "Invisible" by Hunter
Hayes it shows that people are different and if everyone was the same the world would be just
completely messed up. For example Hunter Hayes sings "or anyone that dares to be different and
you've been trying for so long." This shows that you're supposed to be yourself because everyone is
already taken that is just how the universe is. Another

Jeryl Haye Abortion Debate
Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the
uterus. There is also a different kind of abortion which occurs spontaneously and is also known as a
miscarriage. What are these? Are you trying to show resources. Whatever the following is, it is
completely confusing and not appropriate for this paper. (Thirty–nine as of December 2013–

Most religions treat abortions as a sin, and they do not approve of it at all. Everyone has their own
opinion on that subject. Teenagers are having abortions for the wrong reasons. They have
intercourse at such a young age, and then they end up pregnant, not knowing at the end what to do
with the situation. Having a big responsibility at such a young age is not fun at all. That is why
every state should have the right to ask for a consent from at least one parent so that the parents
would also know what is going on with their own child. There is are also rape victims that do not
want to have the baby of their rapist, rapper which is a good reason to have an abortion, but the rape
victim (do not use second person you) should also get a consent from a parent and make sure that is
the best decision you are she can make as a teenager. Also, a lot of people have abortions because of
failed contraception, which is also why a young teen girl should know exactly what you are she is
doing before getting pregnant and needing to have an abortion. That is another reason a consent
form should be needed by a parent parents so the parents can at least know what their teenager is

Mulan And The Hayes Code
Humberto Gonzalez Professor Gittings Wheeler ARH2740 – 884671 Mulan and the Hayes Code In
1998, Disney produced a groundbreaking movie that promoted girls to be themselves and be who
they are. The message this movie conveys is to always be yourself no matter what the social norm
promotes you to be. Despite this being a very heartwarming movie with a positive message, back in
the 1930 's it would have been considered heresy. The Hayes Code was enacted during this time and
enforced general rules onto films in order for them to stay morally acceptable for the public. This
Disney film breaks a few of those rules, most notably the first and third general principles, which
involve causing the audience to gain sympathy toward the side of the crime/wrongdoing, causing the
law to be ridiculed and indecent exposure during a bathing scene; which as a result caused me to not
agree with the "Reasons Supporting the Preamble of the Code" section of the Hayes Code. The first
two offenses this film involves swaying the audience 's opinion in favor of Mulan, who has to put up
with demeaning actions toward her and ultimately breaks the law. In the beginning of the film, she is
getting prepared to attend a ceremony that will determine if she is an appropriate bride for marriage,
and also to determine if she will bring honor to her family. During this scene, a "lucky" cricket
throws a wrench into the whole ceremony and ruins her chances of becoming a worthy bride, and

Rutherford B Hayes resigned to campaign all across Ohio to run for governor. The biggest topic of
the election was whether African–Americans would get voting rights. The election was won by
Hayes in 1867, but he had some struggles. He was a Republican under a Democratic legislator and
had no veto power. However, he helped create a deaf–mute school and a school for girls. In his
second term, he won voting rights for black males, and helped what would become Ohio State
University be founded. He also brought the idea of lower taxes and a better life for prisoners. He left
office in 1872 and came back in 1876 and served a year long term. Rutherford B. Hayes had one of
the most controversial presidential elections. In 1876, Hayes won the Republican presidential
nomination. Nearing the end of the election, South Carolina, Louisiana and Florida had trouble with
the ballot. To solve the problem, a group of representatives voted on where all the aforementioned
states votes would go. The majority of the panel were Republican, Hayes's party and he was voted

Memorable Moments in America in Flags of Our Fathers by...
Flags of Our Fathers by James Bradley is the chronicle of one of the most memorable moments in
America's military history. James Bradley achieves to capture in this book, moments of sadness,
sorrow, majesty, and immortality of these six boys that raised the flag at Iwo Jima. The picture that
immortalized that moment tells a story that represents all men that survived and died for America in
that island. James Bradley's quest for answers, for knowledge and for keeping the honor of these
man alive, makes this book a true American History testimony. It was only the replacement of a flag
but it became the most famous picture in military history. James Bradley's mission to bring these
boys back to life, and forever keep them in the country's memory makes this book an entertaining
and horrifying war tale. The flag raisers as they were called, were just six boys dreaming with the
glory of war and the honor of combat. Unfortunately none of that was found in 1945 when they
landed in the "sulfur island" of Iwo Jima. Horror and death were the only common themes in the
lives of the men that fought for thirty five days against a "ghost" enemy.
The boys made heroes were, John "Doc" Bradley, Rene Gagnon, Harlon Block, Franklin Sousley,
Mike Strank and Ira Hayes. When the war ended and John Bradley left the island back to his home,
he did not want to talk about Iwo Jima, the boys, the war or the raising of the flag. Much less of the
circus that was created around the picture that became

Personal Narrative: Hunter Hayes
Usually I would say that the feeling of my ears ringing and pounding wouldn't be necessarily
enjoyable, but after one special day last summer I hoped that this feeling would never go away. I
have to say spending time with a friend is always fun, but spending that time being somewhere or
doing something that both find enjoyable is often times more fun. I experienced this when my best
friend Cody and I went to a Hunter Hayes concert and had the time of our lives.
It all started around January of 2016 when Cody and I found out that Hunter Hayes was coming to
Minnesota for a concert. Immediately he and I were thrilled, even though we knew we could never
afford the tickets to a concert. Then sometime around June I mentioned to my parents that Hunter ...

The Rime Of The Modern Mariner By Nick Hayes
The Rime of the Modern Mariner In the graphic novel The Rime of the Modern Mariner written by
Nick Hayes it takes a modern and environmental approach to an old tale. In the story, a mariner tells
a recent divorcee a tale from his past. He tells an account of how he traveled the ocean and witness
the horrific pollution that the ocean contains. He encounters many situations of pollution throughout
the novel, including mesh and plastic inside a rotting albatross; and when he falls into the water he
comes to the surface to see a gray smoke sky and is tangled in a fishing net and coughing up plastic
flakes. He is recused and taken into the woods. Then through Hayes beautiful black and white
drawings, he discovers nature and how stunning the environment truly is. He vows to tell everyone
about his experiences which leads to section eight. Beginning the eighth section, the mariner and the
divorcee sit on a bench together after the mariner has opened his heart and has told his heart–
wrenching tale. The mariner is symbolic of truth and the facts that environmentalist attempted to
educate the public with every day. The divorcee is representative of a modern American. The first
three images in the section are very moving to the reader. One sees a single tear stream down the
mariner's face; one can see the pain that mariner feels retelling such a tale. The divorcee then reacts
as a typical American. He stands up and throws all his garbage on to the ground. This is common for

Case Analysis : Hayes Valley
Hayes Valley is currently known for having tons of new and hip boutiques, restaurants, bars and has
been recently one of San Francisco's hotspots for art installations. Situated about three blocks away
from Civic Center and about four blocks from Market, Hayes Valley offers a quiet escape for local
San Franciscans who want to splurge on fine dining and clothing in contrast to other commercial
parts of San Francisco filled with tourist. By no means is Hayes Valley's commercial neighborhood
only for locals, it attracts tons of tourist day by day, but in comparison to most of the other
neighborhoods in the city, Hayes Valley is a modest destination t that has gone through a drastic
change in the last two decades. Believe it or not, the neighborhood was once vacation destination for
San Franciscans, since the neighborhood was just outside the city limits (Schwartz). Colonel
Thomas Hayes, a county clerk in a time when James Van Ness was Mayor of San Francisco, came to
acquire a land grant of 160 acres west of Van Ness Avenue, starting in Divisadero, and bordering,
Haight, Market and Turk streets. (Schwartz). If this were acquired during modern times, where value
of the neighborhood is currently, Hayes would have been filthy rich. During the old days, San
Francisco wasn 't as commuter friendly as we see it today. Getting across town or even a couple
miles out of the city was dreadful. Even now it still takes awhile to get to one end of San Francisco

stands out in the state of North Carolina. The school it known for meeting state proficiency
standards and is considered one of the highest–performing schools in the state. Hayse Elementary
School has not always been known for its achievements. It has only been in the last few years that
the school got on a track that has lead them to high performance. This rural low–wealth school in
North Carolina commends its success to acknowledging their challenges, balancing equity and
adequacy, and developing continual improvement measures for the future. This paper discusses how
Hayse Elementary School stakeholders joined their efforts and created a path that has lead them to
continual success. Fiscal Challenges and Litigation Like many public schools in North Carolina,
Hayes Elementary is presented with numerous funding challenges each school year. Specifically, per
pupil funding, facilities, and teacher compensation have been the areas that have lacked the most
historically. Thanks to the ongoing North Carolina litigation of Leandro v. State, Hayse Elementary

Top of the priority list for success at Hayes Elementary is school culture and climate. Creating an
environment that is welcoming, supportive, safe, believes in its students, and has high expectations

stakeholders to achieve it through collaboration and communication is what helps to create this type
of culture and climate. Curriculum, instruction, and assessment must be aligned and guided by state

Chris Hayes Analysis
Sadly some of the best and most accurate news we get come from those that do not have a large
enough platform to move minds. For this reasons we must magnify the reach of those who are
providing news we all need to hear. Chris Hayes is a dependable and trusted journalist that over time
have bucked many to ensure prescient news gets out. He generally brings knowledgeable fact based
professionals to his show that aids as well. This piece is one of those that must be shared. Jeb Bush
and his GOP presidential cohort are attempting to scare Americans into believing that the social
safety net (Social Security & Medicare) must be cut. "We have got some great news today that you

"If Medicare and health care cost continue to grow at insane rates year over year, we are basically
fiscally screwed. If its cost curve comes down considerably, we are fine. Literally those are the
stakes. Screwed, fine, depending on how those curves go. And here is what's happened. The blue
line in this chart is the projection for Medicare as a percentage of the economy, the GDP and it
shows Medicare cost flattening out at about 6% of GDP all the way through 2080 according to the
latest trustee's report on the financial health of Medicare. Look at the red line. That was the
projection back in 2005 which showed Medicare climbing and climbing and climbing through 2070
at a rate more than twice as bad. In other words Medicare is now projected to cost half as much, half
as much over the coming decades. This is based on a mountain of information projection some of
which could of course change like the actual cost of future medical procedures. But you get the
picture. The primary new factor between then and now is Obamacare and the effect it may be having
on slowing runaway medical cost. So the sky is not falling in other words. But don't expect to hear
that anywhere

Steven Hayes Research Paper
When the question of deciding if Steven Hayes possessed a personality disorder when committing
the Cheshire crime, it seems unlikely. In an article by Marc Wortman that was published in The
Daily Beast, Steven Hayes openly admitted to the reporter he was a crack addict and "used drugs to
kill the pain..." (Wortman). Hayes went into full explanation claiming he had suffered abuse during
childhood with no contact of his father and ended up dropping out of high school. However, if
Hayes suffered from an abusive childhood which resulted him to turn to drugs, why didn't Hayes
seek counseling? Steven Hayes own brother even admits that "Steven's pattern of conniving goes
back to early childhood" (Glaberson). Hayes admitted, "he would be fine if he could serve life for
the Cheshire crimes" (Glaberson). Due to Hayes sentencing, it was declared that Hayes would
receive the death penalty by lethal injection. It appears that Hayes would try to make indication that
he was a victim of his drug addiction which would've give explanation towards the Cheshire crime
that was committed. However, Hayes might have been finding any type of excuse he can conjure up
in order to buy himself more time from his execution. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Jamie Hayes: Guilty Of Voluntary Manslaughter
Your honor, I respectfully request that you find the defendant, Jamie Hayes, guilty of voluntary
manslaughter. As you can see from our witness's testimony, we have shown beyond a reasonable
doubt that Jamie Hayes, is indeed guilty of manslaughter. Our first witness, Lou Williams, head of
campus security, explained the specific details of every incident involving the track team and
campus security. Alongside this, Lou Williams also told us that the security department was well
trained and prepared for any incident that was to occur. All security officers were licensed to carry
firearms and to use them if necessary. Furthermore, she stated that they hired Lee Valdez based off
his respectable credentials and that he was a great officer to work with. During Valdez's time, recent
events involving police brutality raised some serious concerns amongst many of the students at
CCU. Since then, the students have held two rallies on excessive use of force by law enforcement,
and with this, the security department has noticed a change in the students' attitudes towards
authority. In response to this, Lou Williams conducted monthly training meetings with her staff on
how to deescalate tense situations. Despite what defense may say otherwise, Campus Security did
have a procedure that was followed on the night of the incident on May 15, 2014. ... Show more

Through Detective Thomas's investigation of the scene of the incident, she concluded that Jamie
Hayes was able to see and hear the altercation between Casey Barns and Lee Valdez clearly from
(his/her) location. Terry Thomas also says that she had probable cause to arrest Jamie Hayes because
upon examining Casey Barn's neck, the location where (he/she) was allegedly being choked and on
the brink of death, had no visible marks. {Jamie Hayes stated in questioning that and I quote,
"Valdez is a jerk, he got what he deserved." This shows that Jamie Hayes acted with implied malice,
as is stated in Calcrim 520 point (4) which says that– he or she acted deliberately with conscious
disregard for human life. Even though Jamie Hayes did not know that Lee Valdez was going to die,
(he/she knew full well that she had harmed him enough so that paramedics had to arrive.} Upon
investigating social media, Terry Thomas noticed that Casey Barns' social media accounts were
inactive while Jamie Hayes' social media were very active in the recent months, specifically in a
twitter group called "CCU against police brutality." One specific tweet caught the attention of the
Detective and that was the tweet from April 3rd at 11:30 p.m. which stated that "Law Enforcement

Popular Film
Between 1970 and 1980 there was a cultural film explosion, there were over 200 films released by
major and independent studios that hyped major black characters and themes. Prior to the
Blaxploitation era black actors had been relinquished to playing small parts that usually presented
stereotyped images of the black race with roles such as waitresses or shoeshine boys. This however
all changed when in 1971 when the first successful black film "Sweetback's Baadasss Song" showed
a black man coming out on top over the white establishment. The term blaxploitation both helped
and destroyed the genre. While many blaxploitation films were box office successes, they also

These movies didn't limit themselves to making style statements, or tracking ingenious petty crimes
and big rip–offs. Similar to other movies in the same genre, the women portrayed in the movie were
not well realized, or treated well. In one particular scene Shaft harshly tries to dismiss his one–night
stand, the woman in question then criticizes him for his callousness (Washington, 2000). While now
days the original "Shaft" wouldn't hold up as an action film, it is because most people are to young
to be aware of the elation that charged movie houses of the 70's as cheering black audiences saw a
dark–skinned hero –– iconic and masculine in his up–to–the–minute proto–fade haircut and
collection of leathers –– in total control of his destiny. Richard Roundtree's on–screen relish, which
was itself a kind of dynamism, connected to an audience hunger (Washington, 2000).
Perhaps even more successful than the original 'Shaft' movie was the accompanying soundtrack. The
upbeat and funky blues score reached number one on the music charts while also securing Isaac
Hayes a Grammy and Oscar for his efforts. The musical score managed to capture the spirit of John
Shaft and his New York City turf, with its slick and soulful sounds. Hayes is credited with
popularizing rap, which he employed in the "Theme From Shaft". Behind Shaft's opening credits,

Jim Tressel
The Ohio State University is home to one of the best college football teams in America. The
university has a rich history where several famous players and coaches have emerged. One famous
coach in particular is Jim Tressel, who coached at Ohio State from 2001 until 2011. During his
tenure, he had a winning record that came to an abrupt end as a result of multiple ethics violations.
Tressel's full range leadership, critical thinking, team dynamics and ethical behaviors will be
examined in this thesis. Based on the information found in the study guides, Tressel is a visionary
leader who was not ethical. Despite a lapse in ethics, he led the Buckeyes for nearly a decade with a
vision to win, and he did just that.

Rhetorical Analysis: Up With Chris Hayes
Comparably, the MSNBC show "Up With Chris Hayes", depends on the guest commentators and his
own achievements in science to appeal to viewers ethos when addressing the issue of global
warming. Although Chris Hayes is not an expert on climate change, his own education and
experience as a journalist garner him enough credibility to offer his opinion to the issue. His
political commentator position does not require him to state his credentials, since many people will
tune in to listen. Hayes also uses guest commentators to who wholeheartedly agree with his ideas.
For example, Hayes introduces Christine Todd Whitman as a governor "who believes in the science,

global warming. Many of the viewers appear to be both in the middle and left wing who are
everyday people who were raised in a more progressive era. Meanwhile, viewers of Fox News are
diehard conservatives who believe wholeheartedly that climate change is a tactic orchestrated by
liberals to take away their political powers. In a sense, it appears as though Fox News appeals to
older and predominantly white, rich males who grew up before the progressive era. Fox News
expressed their personal testimony more openly, which allows them to deflect the attention of the
audience away from the issue, while MSNBC sticks to the topic at hand and supplies a plethora of
statistics for their audience. Fox News logos and pathos appeal is more effect than MSNBC because
they make statements that disturb viewers peace of minds. However, MSNBC is clearly more
effective in winning over their audience due to the highly educated commentators they use to make

major in the 23rd Ohio Infantry. Hayes enjoyed the rugged military life and fought bravely,
receiving four wounds in action during his service. In the fall of 1862, he led a charge in the Battle

In this situation there are two things happening, Ritchie Gravy is empowering and lack of leadership

Now if we analysis the situation here in a straight line it seems more like, kitchen staffs are the
tough guys of the organization who are making the money for the business so obviously
management not arguing about anything with them even though they do wrong things with other

the floor staff is competent in work they can't really perform the best out of them which results

Obviously Ritchie holds quite a bit of power even though Michelle is above him in formal authority.
Given this, what power issues are in play in this case and how might playing with the power
structures affect Café Hip? How do you suggest Café Hip neutralize Ritchie's power without
effecting performance?
Empowerment addresses the power inequality inherent in subordination. Food and Beverage
manager Michelle Cook is above Executive chef Ritchie Gravy in formal authority but she is
subordinate because Ritchie is in a relational position of power over her. Empowerment, therefore,
concerns releasing the shackles placed on floor staffs by kitchen staffs who have power in Café Hip.

Rutherford B. Hayes Born on October 4, 1822 Rutherford Bircher Hayes, called "Ruud" as a child,
was named for his father and grandfather. His American roots traced back to 1680's New England.
Five years before Ruud's birth, his parents fled the poor economy there and resettled in Delaware,
Ohio, just north of Columbus. They secured a farm, established a whiskey distillery, and built a
house in town. But Ruud's father died in July 1822, leaving Sophia Bircher Hayes–already
mourning the recent loss of a daughter–with two children and a third on the way. The future

unusually close, playing together and nursing each other when ill. Sophia taught Ruud to read and

plays and Sir Walter Scott's poetry. They also attended for a short time a newly opened publically

scholars of all ages, from little folks of our own size up to young men grown. The school–master,
Daniel Granger, was a little, thin, wiry, energetic Yankee, with black hair, sallow complexion, and
piercing black eyes; and when excited appeared to us a demon of ferocity. He flogged great

the schoolhouse. He threw a large jack–knife, carefully aimed so as just to miss, at the head of a boy
who was whispering near me."Despite the brief

Football seems to be more then just a sport to many people, it seems to be a religion.
In this paper I will aim to show that, as the world seems to become more secular through modernity
there also seems to be a "resacralization" of the world. Looking specifically at the resacralization of
the world, I hope to show that sports can function as a religion; particularly within the context of
Ohio State Football. I will aim to find clear patterns and themes between traditional and/or primal
religions and the Ohio State Football Culture. These patterns allow the culture to act as a new form
of religion, blurring the line between the sacred and profane.

  • 3. Rutherford B. Hayes Essay Rutherford B. Hayes was considered by many to be a simple, uncontroversial, and honest man to run for the presidency. That is why many people are perplexed that such an astute person should have one of the most controversial elections and presidencies ever. Considering Hayes' honorable principles, it came as a surprise to see how he could unknowingly make a decision about reconstruction where its effects were so blatantly derogatory to the cause he was trying to help. The controversy began when he was merely running for office. Hayes was running against Democrat Samuel J. Tilden. When the ballots were tallied in 1876, Hayes clearly lost the popular vote, and had lost the electoral vote 184 to 165 . However, twenty votes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He thought that the country and most white southerners would welcome a policy of moderation and react by assuring rights previously granted only sparingly . Consequently, he thought that by releasing troops from the last two remaining states would, "get from those states by their governors, legislatures, press, and people pledges that the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and fifteenth Amendments shall be faithfully observed; that the colored people shall have equal rights to labor, education, and the privileges of citizenship" . His theory that the southern government keeps their honor was severely disturbed by what was to follow in the near future. An 1871 report to Congress says that in nine counties in South Carolina there were 35 lynchings, 262 black men and women were severely beaten, and over 100 homes were burned . To Hayes' benefit, most people believed that he truly didn't foresee what would happen with his policy. Professor John W. Burgess noted Hayes "greatest struggle which he had with himself ... was the question whether he was deserting the just cause of the black man and delivering him back to servitude" . There were actually mixed emotions about the topic all around. Evan William Gillete agrees that, "the reaction of most northern Republicans ranged from enthusiastic relief that the issue of the use of troops in the south would no longer intrude into every campaign, to fatalistic acceptance of the necessity of withdrawal". ... • 5. E. Holmes District E. HOLMES DISTRICT – It takes but a quick glance around his office at Chestnut Ridge Elementary to realize Principal J.T. Luneborg is a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Himself a graduate of Otterbein College, Luneborg said his mother was a Buckeye. He 's been going to games since he was a young boy, and this is the first year he can remember the family not having season football tickets to the Shoe. Luneborg has been employed by the East Holmes Local School District for 20 years, the last 11 of which he has served as principal. The Washington Courthouse native said he was drawn to the area after meeting his wife, Kelly, at college. She hails from Sugarcreek. Buckeye football is far from the only sport Luneborg enjoys. In high school, he, following in his brother 's footsteps, played golf, basketball and tennis. And, while he still quite enjoys golf, on average scoring in the low 40s, his time on the course is limited, and Luneborg 's sports interest have shifted. He 's spent several years coaching both recreational and travel softball for his daughters, Allison, 18, and Taylor, 12. "I enjoy it. I 've seen too many (coaches) who mean well, but don 't know what they 're doing," said Luneborg, who enjoys working with and teaching his players. Even today, girls he coached in the past come up and talk to him. It 's a good feeling for Luneborg, who takes pride in "influencing them enough, they come up and say, 'Hi. '" The ball field also can serve as the classroom for a whole ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. The Hayes-Tiden Analysis The Hayes–Tiden standoff in 1876 started when Grant would not run for a third term in 1876. The Republicans chose Rutherford B Hayes, from Ohio, to run for the presidency. The Democratic nominee was Samuel J Tilden from New York. When the election results came in Tilden had racked up 184 electoral votes of the needed 185(p360), with twenty votes left from four states, which had previously had irregular returns (p360). Oregon went to Hayes, which left Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina up for grabs. All three states submitted two sets of returns one that favored the Democrats and one that favored the Republicans. The compromise of 1877 was how to determine which returns to use for each state. The Key Argument Of The Driving And Restraining Forces According to Lewin's force field theory, he argued that any level of behaviour is maintained in a condition of "quasi–stationary equilibrium" by a force field comprising a balance of forces pushing for and resisting change. The aim of this literature review is to describe the key argument of the driving and restraining forces that respectively promote or impede the success of company's transaction; the review primarily uses an integrative analysis of studies and reviews from the Hayes J (2014). The studies reviewed revealed that driving forces for change, there was separated into internal and external forces. The internal forces come from the inner company, business or organisation whilst the external forces are at macro level where business don't have much control or influence. • 16. Personal Narrative Essay : The Worst Summer Ever It was now Monday morning. My mother and I were standing in the airport. I was holding on to my new suitcase, thinking of my ruined summer. I was still really upset with my mother. How come she got to make all of the decisions, while I had no say in them? "Izzy, be good to your grandmother. I am sure you will have a great time. Call me when you get there," my mother said. "Fine,"I said sarcastically, thinking to myself, you will have a good time, not me. I will have the most boring summer ever! She gave me a hug. I hugged her back, but I was still very angry with her. Then, I saw tears in her eyes. Maybe, I thought, she will miss me. My flight was called. I walked towards the counter. I sneaked a peek at my mom. She was just standing there quietly, with tears in her eyes. I sat in my seat and pulled out my diary. I started a new chapter and titled it: The Worst Summer Ever. Before I knew it, I landed in New Mexico. I got off the plane and grabbed my stuff, only to see my grandmother waiting for me outside of the airport, ready to drive me home. "Wow Izzy, look how big you've got! Last time I saw you, were half your size!" She seemed so happy to see me. Now I felt guilty of not wanting to see her. I gave her a hug and off we went. • 18. The North And The Abraham Lincoln Civil War The north and the Abraham Lincoln argues that the main reason for the civil war was the slavery, whereas, the South and the confederate state reasoned that the main causes of the war is the state 's right and also southerners claimed that they are being treated unfair on the federal tariff and taxes. The southerners wanted to secede from the Union and preserve their right and the northerners wanted to keep the Union from breaking as well as they want to abolish slavery. The Civil War, or the "War between the states," was fought on both moral and economic grounds. On the most unique and modern war the world have ever seen, the north won the civil war because of their regional advantages, population advantages, the better strategic approach towards war and the support from the president. One of the most significant advantages the north (Union) had was regional advantage. The Union held twenty–three states, including four border slave states, while the Confederacy included eleven states. The population count was about 22 million in the Union to 9 million in the Confederacy, and about 4 million of the latter were enslaved African Americans. The Union therefore had an edge of about four to one in human resources. To help redress the imbalance, the Confederacy mobilized 80 percent of its military–age white men, a third of whom would die during the prolonged war (America, 655). An even greater advantage for the North was its industrial development. The southern states ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Which I consider rules out the option that it was an accident. The evidence found could be used to prosecute the offender when found. In the preliminary investigation report there is a sequence of event that happen in the report. It starts with Henderson Fire Department responding to a residential fire. Upon arriving they make entry trough the main door which is secure at the time. As they start to combat the fire the firefighter notice several thing out of place. While making their way to the master bedroom they notice newspaper leading towards the room, along with the smell of fuel. Once they reach the master bedroom they notice an individual laying on the bed dead and burned without recognition. Later once Detective Rita Hayes starts her preliminary investigation they realize that a Honda Pilot is missing from the premises. She also stablishes that the neighbor's rear license plate is missing to their Honda CRV. One of the key indication that a homicide has been committed was the newspapers and smell of fuel in the residence. The smell of fuel was an obvious, since there is no explanation why fuel ... • 22. Analysis Of Bullying: Invisible By Hunter Hayes Bullying is a cruel thing that people (mostly children/teens) do to harass other people that they do not like. The picture is about a group of children who are picking on a boy younger or the same age as them. The lyrics/video is called "Invisible" it's explaining that you are perfect just the way you are. Don't bully people and you won't become a bully yourself. In the song "Invisible" by Hunter Hayes it shows that people are different and if everyone was the same the world would be just completely messed up. For example Hunter Hayes sings "or anyone that dares to be different and you've been trying for so long." This shows that you're supposed to be yourself because everyone is already taken that is just how the universe is. Another ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

That is why every state should have the right to ask for a consent from at least one parent so that the parents would also know what is going on with their own child. There is are also rape victims that do not want to have the baby of their rapist, rapper which is a good reason to have an abortion, but the rape victim (do not use second person you) should also get a consent from a parent and make sure that is the best decision you are she can make as a teenager. • 28. Mulan And The Hayes Code Humberto Gonzalez Professor Gittings Wheeler ARH2740 – 884671 Mulan and the Hayes Code In 1998, Disney produced a groundbreaking movie that promoted girls to be themselves and be who they are. The message this movie conveys is to always be yourself no matter what the social norm promotes you to be. Despite this being a very heartwarming movie with a positive message, back in the 1930 's it would have been considered heresy. The Hayes Code was enacted during this time and enforced general rules onto films in order for them to stay morally acceptable for the public. This Disney film breaks a few of those rules, most notably the first and third general principles, which involve causing the audience to gain sympathy toward the side of the crime/wrongdoing, causing the law to be ridiculed and indecent exposure during a bathing scene; which as a result caused me to not agree with the "Reasons Supporting the Preamble of the Code" section of the Hayes Code. The first two offenses this film involves swaying the audience 's opinion in favor of Mulan, who has to put up with demeaning actions toward her and ultimately breaks the law. In the beginning of the film, she is getting prepared to attend a ceremony that will determine if she is an appropriate bride for marriage, and also to determine if she will bring honor to her family. During this scene, a "lucky" cricket throws a wrench into the whole ceremony and ruins her chances of becoming a worthy bride, and she is told she ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

James Bradley achieves to capture in this book, moments of sadness, sorrow, majesty, and immortality of these six boys that raised the flag at Iwo Jima. The picture that immortalized that moment tells a story that represents all men that survived and died for America in that island. James Bradley's quest for answers, for knowledge and for keeping the honor of these man alive, makes this book a true American History testimony. It was only the replacement of a flag but it became the most famous picture in military history. James Bradley's mission to bring these boys back to life, and forever keep them in the country's memory makes this book an entertaining and horrifying war tale. The flag raisers as they were called, were just six boys dreaming with the glory of war and the honor of combat. Unfortunately none of that was found in 1945 when they landed in the "sulfur island" of Iwo Jima. Horror and death were the only common themes in the lives of the men that fought for thirty five days against a "ghost" enemy. The boys made heroes were, John "Doc" Bradley, Rene Gagnon, Harlon Block, Franklin Sousley, Mike Strank and Ira Hayes. When the war ended and John Bradley left the island back to his home, he did not want to talk about Iwo Jima, the boys, the war or the raising of the flag. The Rime Of The Modern Mariner By Nick Hayes The Rime of the Modern Mariner In the graphic novel The Rime of the Modern Mariner written by Nick Hayes it takes a modern and environmental approach to an old tale. In the story, a mariner tells a recent divorcee a tale from his past. He tells an account of how he traveled the ocean and witness the horrific pollution that the ocean contains. He encounters many situations of pollution throughout the novel, including mesh and plastic inside a rotting albatross; and when he falls into the water he comes to the surface to see a gray smoke sky and is tangled in a fishing net and coughing up plastic flakes. He is recused and taken into the woods. Then through Hayes beautiful black and white drawings, he discovers nature and how stunning the environment truly is. He vows to tell everyone about his experiences which leads to section eight. Beginning the eighth section, the mariner and the divorcee sit on a bench together after the mariner has opened his heart and has told his heart– wrenching tale. The mariner is symbolic of truth and the facts that environmentalist attempted to educate the public with every day. The divorcee is representative of a modern American. The first three images in the section are very moving to the reader. One sees a single tear stream down the mariner's face; one can see the pain that mariner feels retelling such a tale. By no means is Hayes Valley's commercial neighborhood only for locals, it attracts tons of tourist day by day, but in comparison to most of the other neighborhoods in the city, Hayes Valley is a modest destination t that has gone through a drastic change in the last two decades. Our first witness, Lou Williams, head of campus security, explained the specific details of every incident involving the track team and campus security. Alongside this, Lou Williams also told us that the security department was well trained and prepared for any incident that was to occur. All security officers were licensed to carry firearms and to use them if necessary. Furthermore, she stated that they hired Lee Valdez based off his respectable credentials and that he was a great officer to work with. During Valdez's time, recent events involving police brutality raised some serious concerns amongst many of the students at CCU. Since then, the students have held two rallies on excessive use of force by law enforcement, and with this, the security department has noticed a change in the students' attitudes towards authority. In response to this, Lou Williams conducted monthly training meetings with her staff on how to deescalate tense situations. • 66. The Day Of Susan Hayes Research Paper Susan Hayes was an ordinary woman, unremarkable, plain. She was a simple, predictable woman too. Each morning, the aging, unmarried woman took the B train to city hall, where she worked as a clerk. Susan Hayes spent hours holed up in the basement filing things away, and keeping the books. She completed the tedious work one boring task at a time, with nary a soul to talk to except herself. Her only reprieve from the endless drudgery of paperwork was her lunch hour, which she took promptly at twelve p.m. each day. Needless to say, she was a sad and lonely woman. Each night, when her work was done, Ms. Hayes again caught the B train home to her modest apartment. And so, each uneventful day of Susan's life passed in much the same fashion. As ... Four of the justices agreed that Branzburg had no right to confidentiality and should have given the court the identities they had requested. One of the Supreme Court justices handed down a dissenting opinion. The opinion handed down stated that Branzburg's rights should have been protected unless the court could prove three things: First they had to prove probable cause that Branzburg had information to a crime that the Grand Jury was investigating. Secondly the court had to prove that there was no other alternative to obtaining the desired information on the two individuals identities except from Branzburg himself. • 76. Rutherford B. Hayes Research Paper Rutherford B. Hayes Born on October 4, 1822 Rutherford Bircher Hayes, called "Ruud" as a child, was named for his father and grandfather. His American roots traced back to 1680's New England. Five years before Ruud's birth, his parents fled the poor economy there and resettled in Delaware, Ohio, just north of Columbus. They secured a farm, established a whiskey distillery, and built a house in town. But Ruud's father died in July 1822, leaving Sophia Bircher Hayes–already mourning the recent loss of a daughter–with two children and a third on the way. The future President was born ten weeks after his father's death. He was often sick as an infant. When Ruud was only two, just as his health improved somewhat, his nine–year–old brother drowned ... As a result Fanny and Ruud were unusually close, playing together and nursing each other when ill. Sophia taught Ruud to read and write, but through Fanny, who was exceptionally bright, he became acquainted with Shakespeare's plays and Sir Walter Scott's poetry. They also attended for a short time a newly opened publically supported district school. Ruud later recalled: "The school was free to all and was crowded with scholars of all ages, from little folks of our own size up to young men grown. The school–master, Daniel Granger, was a little, thin, wiry, energetic Yankee, with black hair, sallow complexion, and piercing black eyes; and when excited appeared to us a demon of ferocity. He flogged great strapping fellows of twice his size, and talked savagely of . . . throwing them through the walls of the schoolhouse. He threw a large jack–knife, carefully aimed so as just to miss, at the head of a boy who was whispering near me."Despite the brief ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Through its use of myths, rituals, devotion of the fans, and use of space as well as time, Ohio State Football seems to be more then just a sport to many people, it seems to be a religion. In this paper I will aim to show that, as the world seems to become more secular through modernity there also seems to be a "resacralization" of the world. Looking specifically at the resacralization of the world, I hope to show that sports can function as a religion; particularly within the context of Ohio State Football. I will aim to find clear patterns and themes between traditional and/or primal religions and the Ohio State Football Culture. These patterns allow the culture to act as a new form of religion, blurring the line between the sacred and profane. Ohio State Football Functioning as Religion? In his book, Authentic Fates: Religion and American Popular Culture, David Chidester looks at number of different themes in pop culture and the religious dimensions that surround them. Specifically, one chapter focuses on baseball, Coca–Cola, and rock 'n' roll in which he argues that these, "Seem to encompass a wildly diverse but somehow representative range of possibilities for what might count as religion.
