(Miller). This number does not even begin to include the millions more that are captured in their own countries

Dai is a victim of human trafficking. She became a victim when she met a military man and fell in love. He then
convinced her to to move to a remote location with him. She agreed and once she got there, she was beaten and raped.
She was eventually able to escape, but the man had taken all of her forms of identification. This meant that she was
unable to really get any help or start a new life. From there she became a street walker to help make money so she

smuggling. Although commonly performed for financial gain, sometimes individuals smuggle people to reunite them
with their families. This can include the defilement of one or several countries regulations through trickery by the use
of fake documents.

number of people who have assistance with entering America illegally are considered to be smuggled rather than

trafficking exploiting millions of women and children every year within or across international borders. This illegal
industry involves recruiting, transporting, and receipt of children or adults solely for self–exploitation. In other words,
its seen as a horrendous crime, an assault on freedom and human dignity. It is palpable that sex slavery impacts all
countries all over the world, although some countries experience greater levels compared to others. Notwithstanding
motives for sex trafficking are both multifaceted and interrelated. Higher risk countries are those with fractured
government's, vulnerability due to poverty, the absence of sufficient protection against discrimination, and economic
decline. Somalia, a country more vulnerable to modern slavery, renders the perfect opportunity to assess how
individuals in searching for a better life ends up in the most unwanted predicament. This paper will examine– the
meaning of sex slavery, how women and children become victims of such ghastly crimes, supplier, emissary, the
