This is a close up shot. This is where the camera focuses
on one object close up. In this scene it focuses on the
birthday cake and she is about to blow out every candle.
2. Close Mid Shot
This is a close mid shot. This shot only shows from someone's face to their chest. Also this is
an aerial shot where it is taken above a person or an object. This shows that the person is
powerless and cannot do nothing. In this scene, we see that this camera shot is used to show
that she is powerless at this very moment.
3. Trombone Shot
This is the trombone shot. This is where the camera moves forward and zooms
out at the same time. This camera shot represents that a character has realized
something. In this movie, this shows that this woman has a sudden realization
that her daughter has died and that death is coming for her in a minute. Also
this is a close mid-shot to show her facial expressions.
4. STEADICAM
This is the steadicam where a person is attached to the camera with a mechanical arm and this
steadies the camera while the instructor moves. This is similar to the track shot but within this
shot it would be pointless as the tracks would be visible in shot. In this sequence, the camera
stays in wide shot all the way.
5. Arc Shot
This is the arc shot where the camera is rotating around a
person. This is used to show how a person realizes the world is
not what they expected it to be. In this scene, this shows that
the woman knows that she knows that her daughter has died,
and death was coming for her.
