The Descent clip 3

2. Camera shots 1 track
This is zooming into the cake
and its focusing as it zooms in, at first it’s
a wide shot and then zooms into a close
up of the cake. This is the first shot of the
clip, this is what Share is dreaming of but
the audience doesn't know at this point. It
would be done on a track.

3. Camera shot 2 tilted
This is a close up of Sarah
but it is a bit off to create
effect. The camera is
slightly tilted downwards on
her so the camera is high
and it make her look
venerable because she is in
hospital because she was in
a car crash.

4. Camera shot 3 tilted
This shot is a camera tilting
down on her, again to make her
look venerable and week. It
shows us what critical
condition she is. This is also a
mid shot because its from the
waste to the head. This is also
shot on a tripod.

5. Camera shot 4 Mid shot
This is a mid shot again
because its from her
waste up but she is still
moving. Its showing she
doesn’t want to be there.

6. Camera shot 5 Cut away
This is a cut away, it is
slightly tilted sideways to
show something isn't quite
right. The monitor has no
squiggly lines because share
has un hooked her self from
it.

7. Camera shot 6 Mid shot
This is a mid shot of her
in the corridor. She is the
only one in the shot to
show she is alone and
confused. However she
has just walked into the
mid shot.

8. Camera shot 7 Wide shot
This is a static wide
shot of her looking
around because she is
un shore where
everyone is and
where she is, this on a
steady cam.

9. Camera shot 8 Trombone
In this shot as the camera
zooms into her face the
background zooms out.
This is done by the camera
zooming out wile it is on a
track moving towards her.
This is trying to tell the
audience that she thinks
there is something in the
dark trying to get her so it
makes her to star
pancaking and its some
sort of realization.

10. Camera shot 9 Wide shot
This is a shot of her running
towards the camera as the lights
are turning of behind her. It
shows that she is running away
from something and that makes
her scarred and starts to panic,
this is a wide shot because you
can see all of her body all the
way through the shot. And its all
shot on a steady cam.

11. Camera shot 10 Wide shot
This wide shot has swapped to
the camera going into the dark
as if it is chasing her slowly
and she is running to the light
to get away. We are now
looking at it form what ever in
the darks point of view. This is
all on a steady cam, however
they cam has’t broken the 180
line rule.

12. Camera 11 360 degree turn
This part is when Share has just came
back to reality and ran into the arms of
one of her friends and she is crying. The
came does a full 360 degree turn on a
steady cam around the two characters
hugging to create affect. The last shots
the characters goes down onto the floor
so it creates a high tilted effect. The
whole shot is in a mid shot. Now all of
the extras come on scene to show its
back to reality.

13. Camera 12 Cutaway
This is a cutaway onto a
character instead of an
object to show its not
just share is upset. Even
though share is the main
point of this part of the
clip. This is a medium
close up of the
character.

14. Camera shot 13 wide shot
This is a wide shot of the
two characters on the
floor hugging and crying
and the other extras
walking down the
corridor. The steady cam
is zooming out and it
gradually goes down to
the floor too.
