2. Close up
Some movies use close
up to show how
important the moment
is whereas others use it
to show anger. As seen
in this image its used to
show how important
that moment is because
this moment shows her
daughter has died and
she will never be able to
see her birthday cake
again.
3. Mid-Shot
In this screenshot
they used the mid
shot to show the
surroundings of her
and the room. This
shot is probably one
of the most
common in movies
because it shows
the person and the
room they're in at
that moment.
4. Trombone Shot
The trombone shot
starts off as a mid shot
and then zooms in to
the person at a weird
depth of field and this
shot is usually used
when someone is
scared or confused.
5. Steadicam
Steadicam is usually
used when the the
person is running or
walking away and the
camera follows them
without shaking. In this
image you can see the
girl running away from
the darkness and the
Steadicam is following
from behind.
6. Arc shot
The arc shot is a camera
that spins around the
character and this is
usually used when the
person is lost or
doesn't’t know where
they are and it spins to
show where they are.
7. Steadicam out
This camera angle is
used to show the
scene has ended and
there's nothing more
to show. The camera
moves away from
what's going on to
show the scenes
over.
