The coronavirus pandemic has put 100 million jobs at risk in India alone. The numbers globally are not any better.
Its probably the most uncertain time in history, for employed people and job seekers.

RESUME
PREPARATION
22. • Don’t title your resume “resume.” The hiring manager should know what it is just
by looking at it. If they don’t, then it’s not a resume !
• Don’t “fluff” your sentences with unnecessary words. Remember, short and
sweet (e.g. single handedly managed the successful update & deployment of
new environmental illumination system with zero cost overruns and zero safety
incidents – Changed the light bulb !)
• Don’t include salary requirements or information.
• Don’t list why you left your last job or jobs…and on that same topic, don’t trash
former employers…ever…
• Don’t include personal information beyond your name and contact. They don’t
need your age, race, marital status, sexual orientation or hobbies.
• Don’t include a photo of yourself (U.S./INTERNATIONAL). Unless you’re an actor
and applying for a role…otherwise, it’s just creepy.
• Don’t get sloppy. Double-check for errors. Then check again.
