chapter of Ostrander's book that talks about the history of Christian education. I prepared myself a lot and the day of the class I divided the time so the
students could work on a project that we have. I try to summarize the chapter while explaining it. I planned to talk for 25 minutes and I ended up
talking for 15 minutes. I was talking too fast and skipping important points without realizing about that. At the time of the class, I felt confident but I
was a little nervous and it was harder to express my ideas in English but I manage to overcome that. I was able to explain everything but I was a
little disappointed that I could not meet my time goal. After that, I ask them some questions to see if they have understood the topic. It was interesting

On December 6th, 2014, I had the opportunity to give a PowerPoint presentation on the issue of "Children in the Fields" to the youth group (and a
few other members) of my local church in Wendell, NC. There was a total of about 20 people there, ranging from ages 13 to 30 years. As youth
president at my church, I was given the responsibility of looking for current events and/or issues to present to the youth, so that they can learn to
become informed citizens and learn the importance of volunteering and advocating for a specific cause. As a result of taking this course, which has
allowed me to be aware of the issues and injustices surrounding farmworkers, I decided to give a presentation on an issue that is very near and dear to
my heart–children in the fields–and because I considered that this topic would provoke the biggest emotional reactions from the audience. Overall, as I
was giving the presentation, I observed that the audience was actually shocked about the experiences that many children undergo due to the lack of

Learning about PowerPoint has been very stimulating for me; unit five has taught me a lot. I love to use Microsoft PowerPoint, but until this unit, I

Additionally i used the room to practice my presentation utilising the actual equipment I would use on the day to make sure a was familiar with the it
and how it worked.

I pitched my presentation knowing who the audience was and preconceived assumptions of their knowledge and understanding, as mentioned above.
Feedback from the audience at the end of the presentation suggested the content level was appropriate. I used multiple sources of data (ILM Handouts
/ Internet) to verify that the presentation was factually correct.
I ensured whilst I made my presentation that I spoke clearly and steadily. I have a tendency to talk quickly so I paid particular attention to controlling
the speed of my voice. I also ensured I maintained eye contact with my audience and tried not to focus just on one individual.

The feedback I received was varied. The planning, structure and content of the presentation was good and well structured. Based on this feedback I
was happy with the flow and how the presentation came across from this perspective. As a result I don't think I would change how I went about

What I Was Master When It?
For so many years I thought I was master when it comes to communication. Since I was young girl I wanted to become a lawyer because everyone
around me said that I knew how speak and persuade others. However, many people didn't know that I could be really confidant in front of one or
two people and get really nerves and enable to speak in front of others that I didn't know. I always argued with others and never gave them the chance
to speak and instead listening to them I often used to think about the respond. I came a long way from what I used to be when it comes to

time I learned how to create a power point or give speech was when I was in 10th grade after I came to United States. I remember using a power point
