magazine is very frequent, as boy bands are appealing
to teenage girls. Their facial expressions are quite
funny and silly, attracting young girls and creating a
friendly image.
The barcode: the smallest part of the magazine, yet probably one of the most important. The
barcode, issue number and price are essential, for selling copies. The date is an added bonus
so regular buyers can keep up with when the magazine is from.

contents page and shows where certain articles
can be found in the magazine, this is more visual
and appeals to the target audience.

and is recognisable to young girls; hearts
are often used in pop music magazines as
they reflect love, a subject that is very
popular amongst pop songs.

are more attractive, also the usage of
