2. Why?
The mock up is simply a starter to what my magazine could look
like in the end. This is just created to allow myself to gain a
better understanding of conventions such as layouts, masthead,
typeface, colour scheme and the main image.

3. Magazine Image
At First I had to begin with getting my image for my magazine. I
thought it would be interesting to see if I can use the same
image I used in my poster which would bring a strong link
between the two media products.

4. Magazine Masthead & Typeface
The next factor was to get my masthead and typeface ready for
my cover lines. This was already done by my research carried out
in the previous stages.

5. Putting It Into Practise
Now it was time to put my skills to practise and to make a little
mock up magazine to get some sort of an idea of how my final
product would look like.

6. However..
From looking at the image I felt there is no point continuing with
an image that is not attractive or appealing for my magazine.
This image would not be appropriate for a magazine as it doesn’t
follow the conventions of it. This allowed me to select another
image to begin making my magazines with.

7. Images
Here are the images I am going to select for my magazine and to
begin producing alternative products. The two images would be
transformed and manipulated to full effect to make sure my
image looks very appealing to my target audience.
