2. "Hatchi: A Dog's Tale" and "Marley and Me" are tragic motion picture movies that were
based on factual stories. From this earliest reference point, I might want to give a short
presentation for these two diverse films.” Hatchi: A Dog’s Tale” was a genuine story that
originated from Japan and was starting from a college’s professor formed a close bond
with an abandoned dog who the role of professor was played by Richard Gere. As for
“Marley and Me”, it was a cheerful family movie about how a young couple started their
career life with the influence of a dog by the Grogans couple were played by Owen
Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. USA was the setting of the real scene of the movie Marley
and Me. After that, I discovered that they had few similarities in these movies and I
might like to list out my individual perspectives by comparing two of them.
First and foremost, the first noticeable similarity is both of their main characters were
dogs. For “Hatchi: A Dog’s Tale”, its dog was an Akita and was named Hatchi, which
means the lucky number eight. The Akita Inu is viewed as a countrywide pooch of
Japan and is one of seven types selected as a Natural Monument. In the movie,
Hatchi’s personalities were animated, calm, great affirmation and completed not eager
to do whatever it did not lean toward unless for fawning its owner. As for “Marley and
Me”, Marley was the canine’s name and a type of yellow Labrador Retriever. According
to Author Unknown (2013), it is once known as the "St John's Dogs," the Labrador
Retriever is a standout between the most well-known kinds in the United States. In the
film, Marley was robust, eager to be dynamic and even had nickname of “the world’s
worst dog” as he chewed everything, knocked individuals down and dragged items
around without under control.
3. Secondly, they both offered significant messages that pets are part of and its
importance for a family. As far as concerns Hatchi, at first, it should be conveyed from
Japan to a location yet he dropped in rail station, where he met with Professor Parker.
Starting, Parker's wife did not concur her other half to adopt Hatchi. Through step by
step of their interaction, Parker's family soon structured an unbreakable bond with
Hatchi, particularly Parker and Hatchi. Their relationship was parallel to a father and
child connection. Also, Parker's grandson, Roonie even said that his hero is Hatchi. On
the other side, Marley was a testing to prove John and Jenny Grogan that if they were
prepared for parenthood at the first. After few years, the couple finally had their family
and youngsters while Marley was with them along these years. Marley was the relative
who brings rapture, diversion, disappointment, and enthusiasm to the family. However,
Marley might deal with his "younger sibling" by staying overnight with him and certify the
family's security. The existence of Marley truly could alter anything from Grogan
couples' like marriage, family and profession, this information is taken from Angela, W.
(2008).
Next, one of the similarities between these two movies is that they equipped to
demonstrate some convincing well lessons to their crowds through their filming. What
life means was the lesson that I had taken in by viewing "Marley and Me". Marley came
into the couple's life and flipped around their life. As they existed along all the more
together, they acknowledged how rich their lives had ended up and how imperative
Marley was to them. They began to identify their lives were not about extravagant autos
or houses as pets could not concern less about if their owner is affluent or meagre, they
only require to survive with essential qualities with their owner. However, this is
4. something that typically human do not have a tendency to live by, this fact is taken from
Ilana, (2011). In Hatchi’s film, the meaning of unconditional love and loyalty had been
showed up. Normally, Hatchi would wait his master’s arrival at the train station as its
daily routine life. One day, Professor Parker departed for work and got sick, never to
approach back to the station for a second time. After Parker passed away, Hatchi still
came back to the station on a regular basis for the following nine years, until his death,
to sit tight for his cherished master. Throughout those nine years, this stunning canine
touched each lives of individuals at the station square, as showed them the importance
of loyalty, devotion and love, this information was taken from Laura, B. (2009).
Last but not least, they both ended sadly. For Hatchi, before Parker passed on, he
could sense 'the infirmity' already appeared then tried to ask his master played ball with
him by preventing Parker from going to working but did not work. At last, his expert
truthfully incapable to return again however he still held up at the spot consistently until
his demise. Holding up for somebody that unfeasible to return was entirely torturing
himself and experienced the depression that could not be portrayed; this fact is taken by
Lifa, H.Y. (2010). With respect to Marley, he was a perky, positive and inspiring puppy.
He generally communicated with the family and his family had thought of him as a part
that they could not neglect. A day they had completed a football amusement, Marley felt
detached of his physique then John felt there was something wrong about his fellow. At
that point, Marley went out without their sight then John discovered him was lying on
some place. As a result, Marley encountered stomach twisted and could not spare him
for a surgery in light of the fact that he was old and feeble for that. Ultimately, he passed
on naturally and his family was broken-hearted.
5. For my estimation, most western movies hold many adult contents and these cannot
be acknowledged by most eastern people groups. However, these two motion pictures
are positively worth to be viewed in light of the fact that they truly can convey numerous
positive messages to the groups of onlookers by motivating and propelling their life.
