4. Introduction
• SIPA BASEBALL
Is a kick and ball game played between two
opposing teams, 4 to 6 players each, that take
kicking and fielding.
5. Objectives
• To know more about the new version of a SIPA
as part of a common traditional games in the
Philippines.
• To be able to learn, familiarize and understand
the mechanics of the games and the Rules and
Regulation in playing the new version of SIPA.
• To demonstrate and be able to participate in
playing the new version of SIPA and be able to
share it with other people.
6. EQUIPMENTS NEEDED
• BALL ( RATTAN, VOLLEYBALL, & KIDS BALL)
• SLIPPERS OR SACK BAG( SERVES AS BASE)
• COINS( Serves as a tossed)
• WRISTLE o PITO
7. Mechanics of the Game
• 1. The Intructor/ facilatator shall divide the
student into two groups with 4 to 8 players
each.(depends on how many player.
• 2. The host/instructor has to toss a coin before
starting the game to find out which team will play
first and who will be their enemy/guard.
• 3. After tossing a coin, all players must go to the
respected position. The remaining team on
guard duty will choose a member to throw the
ball to the players.
8. • 4. The kicker must be at the starting line. The
pitcher/thrower must throw the ball to the person
waiting to kick off. Once the player will kicks he/she
must kick as hard and as high as possible.
• 5. The player shall run through the based until they
reached the starting point (home based). Once the
player reached the HOME based they automatically
have 1 points.
• 6. Once the kicker kick the ball the other guards shall
catches the ball and they give it back to the thrower,
and the thrower shall throw the ball to those player
who runs through the based or the GUARDS can hit
the based before the player can reached it, once the
player hits the ball there will be 1 points and it will be
given to the TEAM GUARDS.
9. • 7. After that they must switched positions. So the
TEAM GUARDS WILL BE THE PLAYER and
The TEAM PLAYER WILL BE THE
GUARD.(REVERSE)
• 8. To those team who will reached first the 25
points score shall be declared as winner. (
POINTS WILL DEPEND ON THE PLAYERS
SUGGESTIONS.
• JUST GO BACK TO THE PROCESS (Step 3)
10. Rules and Regulation of the
Game
• Rule of the Player and the Kicker
The player Must wear a Proper Attire such as
( PE Uniforms, White T-shirt, jogging pants,
PE shoes)( for the girls the hair must be tied
up)
The kicker must kick the ball 3 times
only(failed to do that 1point shall be given to
the other teams)
The players and Kicker are not allowed to
touched the ball
11. The kicker can substitute but he/she must kick
first the ball before substituting
The players can run as many based as he/she
if the ball is not yet catch by the Guards or
he/she is not hit by the ball that thrower throws
towards the Player, if the thrower hits the
based all players shall stop running and those
player who are in the HOME based shall be the
new Kicker.
12. • : RULES of the THROWER and the GUARD
The Guard Must wear a Proper Attire such as
( PE Uniforms, White T-shirt, jogging pants,
PE shoes)( for the girls the hair must be tied

The Thrower must throw the ball to the player
who are in the starting line(Home Based)
All Guards must catch the ball or get the ball
and give it back to the Thrower( they are not
allowed to hit the players, failed to do that 1
points will be deducted in their score)
13. If the thrower catches the ball and the thrower
hits the based , the player should stop running
and to those player that had in the HOME
based he/she will be the kicker.
The Thrower can Hit the Player or the Based
Using the ball that the guards given back to
him/her.
The Thrower can Exchange position, but he/she
must throw first before exchanging positions.
