4. Media technoligies
Whilst working on this task I have used Photoshop, which I think was very easy to
use and get the hang of. As I have used it in the past and am very familiar with it.
Photo shop was used to make my front cover of a school magazine and I think
there was a lot of things I could of done better however I quite liked working with
and using Photoshop. I also used ‘Quark Xpress’ to produce my contents
page, which was a new programme to me. I found ‘quark’ quite a simple and easy
technology to pick up which made the process of my contents page easy to do
however there is still a lot of thing that could be improved. I have also used
‘prezi’ and ‘Slideshare’ to present parts of my work on my blog . Both of these
websites where easy to work and pick up. I think prezi is such a great website to
use as there is so many different things you can do to present and make you work
look good. Not all the media technologies that we have used have been new
technologies, we have also just used camera’s from school to practise and work
on the understanding of our camera angles and to photograph the drawings of
our magazines front covers and contents pages. This was and easy task to do and
I had no problem working with the school camera’s.
