7. OVERALL…WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED?
• Adjective comes before the noun.
• Use of proper pronouns.
• Verbs should be in past tense.
• A person is born on a date, in a country and in a month or year…also, a
person is from a place.
• Which is spelled WHICH.
• Proper names of people and places are capitalized as are days of the
week and months of the year.
• Remember to include an apostrophe (‘) in contractions.
• If a noun ending in “y” is plural…then the noun’s ending becomes “ies”
• Dates are written as month date, year. Ex. October 27, 2014
• If stating something said exactly…use quotes! “Quote.”

minutes just
reading the

and check for

correctly? If
not
sure…what
should you
do?
