1. Once I was done my front cover I then moved on
to my contents page which would inform the
readers more about what the magazine
contained. I again copied this idea form another
Billboard magazine, I wanted to design a
contents page that was less complicated. I have
used one picture that I have took myself from my
previous photoshoot. I also included page
numbers like a real magazine would do.

2. Along with the pictures, I included some
valuable information which tells the reader
what is included in the magazine. Even though
this is mainly a pop music magazine, from
previous research that I have done, these
types of magazines also include style tips and
new gossip. This type of information will
appeal more to the teenage girl audience as
they might be interested in that type of
information.

3. I did include the vital information of the
music gossip and latest news. I also included
more images that told the reader more
about what is included in the magazine. I
also included the numbers of the pages that
you would find the articles on, this is what a
real magazine would do.

4. In the middle of the page I have included a full
body image of Hazel, one of my girls model’s. I
decided to do this because this is what the
billboard magazine did for their contents
page. This made the page look less boring and
it again provided more information about the
main story of the magazine.

5. The final touch’s that I made for my contents
page was that I finished the information of
the article that where included in my
magazine, I also made a sub title for this
page so that readers would identify where
all the key information would be located and
finally I copied the master head from the
front cover, made it smaller and placed it in
the right hand corner of the page. I have
seen this been done in almost every
magazine that I have come a crossed in my
research. I really like what I have done for
my contents page because I believe that it
contains all of the key information needed in
a real magazine
