• iGoogle consists of Tabs and Gadgets
• Add Stuff – Adds Gadgets to your iGoogle page
What Kind of stuff do you have on your Homepage?
Classroom Tools – stopwatch, random name generator, dictionary, ed games
News Items – RSS Feeds, podcasts, videos
Productivity Tools – Date & Time, Google docs, To Do lists, Translators
Personal – Games, weather, recipes, songs, sports coverage
To get to your iGoogle:
1. Login to your Google Account (see separate handout if you don’t have an
account)
2. Click on the iGoogle Link (upper right-hand corner)
To Get Started and add a Theme:
1. Chose a Theme to start with (we will be changing it later) and select only a
couple of interests.
Click on see your page on the lower right hand corner. Lets change the theme
again. In your iGoogle page, click on the Change theme from….link which is
located in the lower right hand corner of your banner. Choose a new theme.
2. To Add Gadgets (Add Stuff):
1. In your iGoogle page, click on the Add Stuff link
2. Browse or Search the Add Stuff section (this search example is for math items):

3. Click Add it now to add a gadget to your iGoogle page
4. Click on Back to iGoogle home to return to your iGoogle page
