Airsoft Assault Rifle Research Paper
You already know the quality and performance of Black Ops airsoft guns. Now get ready to kick
butt with a professional grade gun made for the seriously competitive player. The Black Ops Tactical
M4 Viper Airsoft Assault Rifle has it all; you can modify your tactical approach with different
shooting modes and strike fear into the enemy with specs like fully functioning fiber optics and a
killer fps.
This carbine design was originally conceived as a more compact variation of the standard army
assault rifle, one that would use the same ammunition but be more effective in the dense jungles of
Vietnam. Utilize this same design as you light up your friends and competitors on the airsoft field
and pulverize your opponents with your technical advantage. You can choose between either semi–
automatic or fully automatic shooting modes, and the flip–up fiber optic sights are fully functioning.
Shooting at a solid 420 feet per second, you can take on competitors from a distance or in close
combat. Trust us, even the opponents with the most padding will know you shot them. ... Show more

The new full–metal gearbox is rugged, durable, and allows for additional upgrading when you're
ready for it. The gearbox also allows for hop–ups (or hop–downs if you're friends can't take it!). The
Tactical M4 Viper will keep you shooting at 600 RPM, and you can maintain your position longer
with the high capacity 300–round metal magazine. As a representative of competitive Black Ops
Airsoft Guns, the Viper Assault Rifle features a rechargeable 8.4V NI–MH 1100 mAh battery pack
and charger to keep you shooting

Evolution Of Gun Weapons
The Evolution of Guns From Muskets to automatic Assault rifles, guns have improved ever since the
first use of them. The invention of firearms all began in China, where gunpowder was first created in
the ninth century. Although the Chinese created gunpowder in the 9th century, the first recorded use
of a firearm was in the thirteenth century in the year of 1364. The first use of firearms proof marks
in the year of 1637. Firearms have been improved and are still improving. Some changes that have
been made ever since the first use of a gun include the weight of the gun, better accuracy, bigger
magazines, and better reliability. During war, all of these changes were important to make a better
weapon. Firearms went from being able to shoot ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Muskets were used back then, which aren't even as close to good as the machine guns used today.
Rifles used today such as the M16A4, M4 Carbine, M4A1, and the Scar–H are extremely deadly
and are some of the most advancement weapons out there. The evolution of guns has come a long
way, and they will still be improving from now on. From the 1300s to present day, firearms have
made an incredible impact in this world in both good and bad ways. The evolution of guns can
simply be described as astonishing. From single shot weapons to fully automatic weapons, guns
have impacted militaries all over the world. The weapons improving over the years have influenced
wars and fights. If we didn't have such upgraded weapons, their might have not been as many wars.
In conclusion, firearms have improved significantly and evolved over hundreds of years.
Nevertheless, guns have made the world a better and worse place, but improvement can always be

Assault Weapons Persuasive Speech
I'm sure that you have heard all the ramble about "assault weapons" (these weapons are actually
called AR–15s) and how they should be banned from use of the public. Well I disagree; there's much
for politicians to learn about these weapons, which is one of the biggest problems. These weapons
are actually not dangerous tools for murderers and psychopaths, as they are made out to be. They are
sporting and hunting rifles that can be outfitted for a variety of jobs for the public. AR–15s should
absolutely remain legal in the United States as the are more than just weapons of mass destruction:
they can be used for safety and defence, they actually aren't assault weapons at all, they are
surprisingly good for hunting applications, most of the people ... Show more content on

" For example, assault weapons are equipped with large–capacity ammunition magazines that allow
the shooter to fire 20, 50, or even more than 100 rounds without having to reload. Pistol grips on
assault rifles and shotguns help stabilize the weapon during rapid fire and allow the shooter to
spray–fire from the hip position. Barrel shrouds on assault pistols protect the shooter's hands from
the heat generated by firing many rounds in rapid succession," is what some anti gunners say. Most
political representatives say that they have high capacity magazines which are to unnecessarily large
to be useful. They claim that they are overkill. These same people do not know anything about these
weapons, if they did they would understand that a 30 round magazine is what comes standard to
these weapons. High capacity magazines that hold up to 150 rounds are available through purchase
but do not come with the gun. Another argument is that they have to high of a rate of fire. They
think that this will enable people to spray many rounds into a crowd or in an attempt to hurt
someone. On the other hand these guns are not fully–automatic like the ones the military use. They
are semi–automatic which means that one round is fired per–trigger pull. There are a plethora of
semi–automatic weapons available to the citizens of the United States ranging from handguns to
rifles to shotguns ,but the

The Most Traditional Side of Firearm Usage in America
For generations and generations guns have been the icon of america. Guns can protect you from
criminals and dangerous situations. They surround us everyday, whether it be law enforcement
personnel, in movies, or advertisements. Guns can not only be used to protect the individual but also
the population from a tyrannical government, which is exactly why the founding fathers were so
intent on making guns the forefront of what america is all about. The down side to having guns so
relevant in society is the fact that often it can fall into the wrong hands.
The vast majority of american households have at least one fire arm in the house. This is mostly
because there is more of a comfort that people feel when they believe they could fend of a possible
intruder or attacker. Those that do not have firearms trust that the police will take care of whatever
situation might present itself. The average response time for the police is on average roughly 10 – 15
minutes. The average response time for a .357 magnum is 1300 feet per second. So using a .357 to
shoot a target standing 1ft away is 900 times faster than waiting 15 minutes for a police officer.
Many people have perished waiting for police while their home has been burglarized. With some
sort of firearm in the house that burglar could have easily been eliminated. if those individuals
would have had a firearm in their possession chances are they would still be living. Criminals do not
follow laws, guns legal or not, guns will

the Nightingales of Action Andy. Their first area of operation was a closely aligned trinity of
Dweller cities built around each other, located somewhere in Southern California. Goldfield North,
Goldfield Center and Goldfield South were their names, but because of their short proximity to each

one of the more sprawling Dweller cities that each had a population of four thousand people.

Importance of Securing Items The definition of sensitive items is anything that considered classified
or a mission essential item. They range anywhere from protective wear, maps, patrol routes, nods
(night vision goggles) or simply your weapon. The meaning of securing your sensitive items mainly
is maintaining accountability for opsec (operation security), mission success and a soldiers overall
readiness. If an item is lost and the enemy gets his/her hands on that item it could compromise the
mission at hand or give them intelligence on the items we as soldiers use each day. Using habits and

your team will lose protection from you if your needed, which in turn the platoon suffers from one
person not being able to protect themselves from danger causes the whole company and eventually

The Tragic Hero: The God Of Thunder
(U) One of the most well–known and powerful superheroes in Marvel Comics history is the God of
Thunder, Thor. Thor is from the planet Asgard, where he lived with his parents Odin and Jord and
his adopted brother Loki. Eventually, Thor would leave Asgard to come to earth and protect humans
from all that is evil. Thor embodies the stereotypical Norseman: burly, long hair, a large beard, and a
heavy eater and drinker. Thor is exceptionally strong which makes him capable of almost anything,
but he does have a few strange weaknesses that an enemy can use to defeat him if the fight escalates
to that level. (U) Being that Thor is remarkably strong, he has a wide array of capabilities. For
instance, he is so strong that he was able to defeat the Destroyer of Worlds, Galactus
(TheTopTens.com, 2015). Defeating Galactus is a task most superheroes cannot complete because
Galactus is also overwhelmingly strong (TheTopTens.com, 2015). If Thor can beat Galactus, one
could infer that he could also destroy worlds, making him the only superhero capable to do so. Also,

The day started as another usual on Forward Operating Base (FOB) Zangabad. I had woken up to
ensure that my men had all of their sensitive items on them and report to my Squad Leader that they
did. On that day we were heading out to T.I. 2, a desolate array of Hesco barriers set up as an
Afghan Uniformed Police (AUP) Checkpoint. It was our Company's responsibility to partner with
the AUP down there to help protect T.I. 2 so that they can conduct their own patrols. It was located
roughly a thousand meters south of Fob Zangabad, and about five hundred meters east of the town
of Gerandi. Gerandi was the stronghold of the Taliban in that area, so T.I. 2 was key to disrupting
their operations in the surrounding area. So it was vital that we helped secure it for the AUP and

Scavengers In The Military
Humankind has been waging war since the first sword was crafted by the warmongering tribes that
sought to overthrow each other, and death upon the battlefield has become a daily routine. A boy
grows up, bears the mantle of soldier, and dies for a cause that not even he can fully understand.
Meanwhile, the world prepares for the inevitable– with rising conflicts, and radical militants striving
to bring about a world that follows solely their beliefs. Ask yourself this: are our soldiers not to be
protected from needless casualties at all costs? Keeping in mind this question, we must now refer to
something that humanity chooses to hide, like a secret that could taint our reputation forever. I am
referring to the use of mercenaries and PMCs in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The use of mercenaries dates back to medieval ages, where kings and queens frequently hired them
to fight battles in their name, and handle revolts and rebellions. However, the industry of hired
soldiers was driven underground, and became nothing more than a whisper on the tongues of those
who sought to use them for small conflicts and issues. Ironically, the development of drones and
high tech weaponry has caused a revolution in the world of soldiers of fortune, and their presence in
the battlefield is not unheard of in these violent times. So, knowing that they're back, why haven't
we employed them globally? Well, the answer is that it's simply hard to trust these combatants; after
all, mercenaries have a notorious history of abandoning their original contractors for a higher bidder.
Furthermore, having to keep them in check is a hassle; the US typically prefers for these
corporations to abide by a ruleset on what they can and cannot use during armed conflicts. The issue
with this is that we would be handicapping our own soldiers, and the risk of letting them use banned
military equipment is simply too much. Don't be mistaken, however; these armed mercenaries are
far from weak, and they typically employ the best of the best. They also hold possession over
numerous weapons, ranging from M4 carbines to armored vehicles that have been sold by various
countries. To restate, the standard PMS is too costly, and too risky to deploy over our own armed
forces, despite having a solid foothold in the war economy.

While this makes it a candidate for non–infantry troops (vehicle crews, clerks and staff officers), it
also makes it ideal for close quarters combat (CQC), and airborne and special operations. It has been
adopted by United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and is the preferred weapon
of the U.S. Army Special Forces and Navy SEALs. M4's have also been fielded by the Australian
Special Air Service Regiment. Malaysia purchased M4 Carbine service rifles to replace the Steyr
AUG service rifles in its armed forces in 2006 and will be manufactured in Malaysia under license
by SME Ordnance Sdn Bhd.[3] It is expected that these weapons will not only be used by MAF, but
also will attract other users such as Police, Coast Guard and other enforcement agencies.[4] The M4

Essay on Gun Control Rights
One of many controversial topics in the United States is gun control. It is clearly written in the
Second Amendment of the Constitution that the people will have the right to bear arms. Recently;
however, people have been misusing those firearms and have been harming others with them. The
government is trying to regulate the sale, distribution, and ownership of guns because of this reason.
Some of the arguments being made by the politicians is simply if the government has the right to be
able to control, and if it does, the effectiveness of the public policy to regulate guns. The importance
of gun control as a health issue is a necessity. "Each year, the United States has a bit over 8,000
murders with firearms" (Wilblin 1) "The US ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It also prohibits the ammunition feeding devices for these semiautomatic weapons. (Fienstein 1).
With this being said, the FAWB is an act that supports gun control instead of bearing arms. The
Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being
necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be
infringed." The constitution is clearly saying all citizens have the right to be able to own and carry a
weapon or firearm. On June 26, 2008, in District of Columbia v. Heller, the United States Supreme
Court held in a 5–4 decision that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a
firearm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self–defense within the home and within federal
enclaves (Cornell 1). This is showing how our founding fathers supported the right to bear arms.
Ownership of certain weapons should be prohibited. Assault rifles and submachine guns are firearms
that are never necessary. The United States should set a goal to having fewer high–power weapons
available. However, the only situation to these firearms being more acceptable to use than others, are
the warlike scenarios. The thought of submachine guns and assault rifles being necessary is
sickening. What would be the purpose of owning an assault rifle or submachine guns? Gun–bearers

Weapons of the Vietnam War
In late 1961, America took physical force in the Vietnam War. War is a complex series of political
events that leads to physical involvement in the form of armed combat. Technology is a major
deciding factor in war, along with the battle tactics used, terrain, experience and professionalism of
the opposing forces. By 1961 both the United States and Vietnam had developed a broad array of
guns and weapons to fight off one another. Coupled with battle tactics this provides a deadly and
extremely hostile environment. In the beginning of the war the weapon of choice for the support
troops was the M1 Carbine. The carbine was half the weight and held a less powerful cartridge than
its brother, the M1 Garand. They ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The M–16 is infamous for its accuracy on the battlefield especially at longer ranges. Both assault
rifles share the same 5.56mm projectiles, which provides significant stopping power. The M–203
grenade launcher was a muzzle–loaded grenade that fit under the barrel of assault rifles such as the
M–16. The 40mm grenade was used to provide additional fire support in a gunfight. The high
explosive had a range of 400m and a blast radius of 5m. Before the M–203, infantry used a weapon
called the M–79 grenade launcher. Which largely resembled a sawn off shotgun. The M–79 was
designed to take up the gap between maximum hand grenade distance, and minimum mortar fire
distance. It could fire an array of projectiles which included darts, buck shots, smoke, gas and flares.
The M–79 was ideal in Vietnam terrain. Although the M–16 was very easy to use in the field, some
of the U.S. Armies Special Forces used a gun very similar to the M–16. The XM–177E2 or more
commonly the "colt commando" or the CAR–15, had telescoping stock for easy handling and could
be used more like an SMG instead of an assault rifle which made the CAR–15 a great choice for
combat situations where fighting would be extremely close. Although it was popular with Special
Forces the CAR–15 saw very limited use with normal battalion units. Infantry used the M–67
recoilless rifle to destroy bunkers. It was a breach–loaded single shot rifle (much like a bazooka and

Army Musket
Throughout history the United States Army has undergone a plethora of changes. Since its inception
in 1776 ever this has evolved from personnel, to rank structure, even the uniforms but the one piece
of equipment that has seen the most change has been the weaponry; more specifically the small arms
issued to individual soldiers. Small arms used by American forces in the Revolution were many and
varied, however at the beginning of the war the British Short Land Service Musket, often referred to
as the Brown Bess, was perhaps the most common musket on hand. In 1777, the French allied
themselves with the American cause and began sending arms and equipment. After the revolutionary

The next big improvement came in 1964 with the adoption of the M16. The M16 was ordered as a
replacement for the M14 at the direction of Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara over the
objection of the Army. However from the beginning the M16 showed a lot of problems When the
M16 reached Vietnam, reports of jamming and malfunctions in combat immediately began to
surface. Some additional improvements were made but the rifle's reputation continued to suffer.
Moreover, complaints about the inadequate penetration and stopping power of the 5.56mm cartridge
persisted throughout the conflict. In the mid–1980s the army transitioned into a rifle still in use
today the M16A2. The M16A2 was technologically advanced in many ways the most specific being
the select fire capability. A select fire rifle capable of semi–automatic fire or three–round bursts. The

The Rifle Into The Federal Army
With a new century, came new advancements in technology, and weaponry. Muskets used in the
American Revolutionary War were outdated and inaccurate when it came to the Civil War. The
introduction of the rifle into the Federal Army put the Northern Army leagues ahead of the Southern
Army at the battlefield. Because of the highly industrial based economy in the North, the usage of
rifled bore firearms became widespread in the Federal Army. Moreover, rifles also saw
improvements in loading efficiency, changing the main method of loading to breech loading. Breech
loading a rifle, when compared to the archaic method of ramming the bullet down the barrel or
muzzle loading, greatly reduced the chance of injury caused by the rifle. In ... Show more content on

This allowed the cylinder of the pistol to spin freely while in half cock, enabling the soldier/wielder
to easily reload whenever he/she felt necessary. With such numerous advantages over the flintlock
pistols , the Colt Revolver essentially revolutionized the way weapons were created and their
mechanisms. In the current day, most firearms operate with a magazine which holds the bullets that
are to be fired from the weapon. Similarly, in the Colt Revolver, there was a cylinder containing the
bullets that were to be shot from the Revolver thereby maximizing the efficiency of weapons.
In addition to advancements in smaller firearms, the US military also saw improvements in the
sector of long range rifles. Muzzle loading muskets from the Revolutionary War were highly
inefficient and and extremely dangerous to use. When on the battlefield, trying to load a muzzle
loading musket became very complicated. If the soldier loaded a bullet but it got jammed, and they
tried to fire, the musket would explode in their face, causing many unnecessary injuries to the
soldier force (National Park Service, "Evolution of the Breechloader"). With the invention of the
breech loader, loading a rifle became exceedingly simple. In a breech loading rifle, the soldier loads
a cartridge containing the bullet and the gunpowder into a chamber. They would then proceed to fire
the weapon. This method of loading a weapon was

Zombie Behavioral Patterns
Behavioral Patterns Of Zombies:
Your zombie usually does not behave normally that resembles anything that was once human. Once
mutation has occurred, it is easy to tell at first look that that risen zombie is no longer a living
member of the human society. Its movement is generally slow with very poor skills and
coordination. Its walk is clumsy and unbalanced. This is caused in part by the cellular decay of their
nerves and tissue, and also the poor functioning of the portion of the brain that controls functions.
Without control of their circulatory and other systems, the body begins to decay quite fast. This
rapid decay occurs in all parts of the body including the eyes, leaving zombies with a very poor
sense of sight. This makes them even ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Omaha Beach: A Short Story
The shoreline loomed ominously in the distance. I could faintly make out the gray concrete
fortifications that sat on top of the colossal jagged cliff, barely visible through the haze of the early
morning fog that enveloped the coast of German–controlled France. I could see the Nazi flag
waving slowly with the ever gentle breeze. I looked down at my watch, its hands seeming to move
in slow motion. It was 06:30. My company commander ordered our assault craft forward. The boat
cut through the waves, not like the blade of a chef's newly sharpened knife, but more like a small
child slapping his hand playfully against the cool water of a local swimming pool.
The boat rocked precariously back and forth with the motion of the ever changing sea. Suddenly, ...

The soldier kneeled next to me, pulling a canteen from his backpack. He touched the metal lid to my
parched lips and told me to drink. I tried asking him who he was, but before I could manage a single
word, a shot rang out, reverberating off of the emplacements, and the soldier fell to the ground with
a soft thud. I drug myself over to him in agony and stared directly into his face. Laying right
between his eyes was a bullet hole, a clean shot straight through his skull. I crumpled to the ground
next to him, finally realizing who the unknown soldier was. He was my own brother, who had

I Am At Manzanar Internment Camp
Barbed wired barracks, portable potties, and partition–less showers. My grandfather reminisces his
time spend at Manzanar Internment Camp. While my grandfather stood in the giant shadow of a 30–
foot armed tower, 500–acres of Californian dessert enclosed nearly 12,000 Japanese Americans. In
1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 authorizing the removal and
detainment of anyone in military territory. When "armed police went door to door rounding up
Japanese Americans and ordering them straight to the camps" as my grandfather asserted, America's
national fear was exploited. My grandfather at the age of sixteen, lost his home, his family, and
notably continued to face several obstacles postwar. Thousands of Japanese Americans during the
1940's, including Ichiro in John Okada's No–No Boy, have had their lives reshaped by new
territories, boundaries and inner conflicts. The lost of family and friends was prevalent as racial
prejudices intensified throughout the nation. While thousands of innocent families were victimized
in the Japanese interment camps and imprisonments during WWII, the overwhelming distress led to
corrupt relationships and inner turmoil. "After abandoning everything in our home, everything my
parents had worked for, I was met by assault rifles, searchlights and quarters too small for the
amount of people it accommodated" my grandfather assured. The property, belongings, jobs and
businesses were all left behind in the rash fear

A new platform would be more lethal, more effective, and more reliable than the M4. A major
concerned with the M4 is that the M4 is prone to jamming and malfunctioning due to fouling.
Fouling is caused by carbon residue build up in the weapon system. In combat situations the M4 has
been unreliable, because the weapon misfires. M4 malfunctions include failure to fire, failure to
eject, failure to chamber a round, and failure to feed. The Army conduct a dust test in 2007 for
testing M4A1 reliability. The Army testers and engineers selected ten M4s and three other weapon
systems shot 6000 rounds in the dust chamber. M4 has 683 stoppages and perform the worst against
other weapons. In other words, the M4 jammed every 68 rounds (Lowes, 2007). The other selected
weapons are the Heckler & Koch 416, XM8, and the FN SCAR. (Lowes, 2007). The XM8 jammed
every 472 rounds and the HK 416 jammed every 257 rounds. The XM8 has the lowest stoppage rate.
If the Army adopted one of these three weapons, it will significantly increases reliabilities in the
combat zone. The second issue with the M4A1 is also closely related to malfunction. The M4 is easy
to overheat after prolonged firing. There 's two factors that cause this problem. The first factor is the
high pressure and high velocity round shooting out from the barrel. The other factor is the gas
operation mechanism of the M4A1 uses hot air recycles into the gas impingement tube back

Persuasive Essay On Gun Control
Over the recents years, there have been many arguments about the issue of gun control at the state

California 's new enacted laws about gun control in the state range from abolishing certain features
on weapons to restricting certain handguns or other firearms a person might buy. The legislative

Assault rifles are social artifacts within the community. Gun owners attach subjective means to their
firearms and represents who they are. By California legislators officials to call gun owners ' assault
rifles and its certain features "evil", reflects the person owning it as if he or she was evil themselves
and that he or she maybe future threat to the safety of California. The new law will also require
assault rifles to be registered before January 1st, 2018, or be forced to turn them into local law
enforcement for destruction or removal from the State. If assault rifle owners fail register their rifles
that contain "evil" features will result in a felony or some cases a felony wobbler. This is another
aspect that makes it social policy because it not only includes the welfare of gun owners, but
includes the criminal justice system. Knowing this, even more reinforces the idea that assault rifle
owners are being negatively stigmatized. The reason being is the harsh sentencing of a felony
towards not registering your rifle with "evil" features on it. When most people think of felony
charges, people are most likely perceiving violent offenders like robbers, rapist, murders, and many
more offenses that have a severe threat to our society. The fact that if you don 't register your assault

Living On This Planet : How It Is The Best?
Living on this planet, there are times when individuals run into difficult people. Humans will
disagree, argue, and think their ways are the best. These people are friends, teachers, parents, and
co–workers. Yes, people think differently and have their own ideas, so naturally they want
everything to go as they think best. As hard as it is to see, they might not in fact have the best idea.
When learning to deal with difficult people it can be complicated.
In this world there are many types of difficult people: people who complain about anything, who
often close up, and don't talk at all. I personally work with an individual who is like this. Whenever
she is confronted with a new task she freezes and doesn't speak a word. People whom I work with
have learned to be very patient with this young girl and have learned to talk to her and calm her.
People who close up when others try and talk to them about a problem or situation are categorized
as clams. A clam is a type of person who is very antisocial; these people think that when they
express their ideas they will be made fun of or in fact become embarrassed. When coping with these
people it is best to talk to them and calm them down. Start by making conversation and make them
feel comfortable, and then address the situation. "Listen with empathy to the other person 's point of
view, and look for ways to show him or her that you understand this perspective even if you do not
agree" (Paul).

The government makes replica's of the T20 Tank. The only thing about the tank is, is that it cannot

Military Politics Of The United States
(intro) Imagine this– you look about the window, see gunfire and American citizens walking around

everyone living in the US, because the nation's defense is what keeps us safe. Think about this–
world threats are rising, and we are an international superpower. The United States need a strong
defense, not a cheap one. Although increased military spending could result in more national debt

We would be a very well protected world power, create more military jobs, a better working
environment for our troops and other military personnel, and it would help stimulate the economy in
countless ways. Living in America is something that almost all of our citizens enjoy daily. It is the
government's responsibility to protect this right. America can't be free if it becomes controlled by
terrorists, Nazis, Fascists, dictators, communists, Imperialists or other world evils. All serving
military personnel took an oath to serve and protect this country, but that is hard to do that without

A strong and ready army is one of the metaphorical pillars that support our nation. A good country

government, and other important things.
Most people are convinced we have the best military in the world. The reality is that our military is

The AK–47 more in detail has a," metallic curved detachable box magazine which held 30 round of

for your buck the AK is the gun for you but if you want precision marksmanship shots the M4 is a
better choice. The M4 has more performance specs than the AK which makes it precise but the AK
has a bigger bang for the people for wanting more action in their gun. Both guns are known in the
U.S by basically everyone with knowledge of guns. The M4 is only known in the U.S and were the
U.S army uses it but the AK is known worldwide because of its major history it has. With the M4 its

countries it would make any gun more known in the world. If you take a M4 to the middle of Africa

Strategy and Obstacles in the Battle of Arracourt Essay
"Arracourt was the greatest tank battle of the war on the Allied Front." This is how US Major
General John S. Wood described the Battle of Arracourt, which took place in the last weeks of
September 1944 in Northern France. The Allied Forces had landed in Normandy in June 1944, and
by the summer had broken out of their beachhead. This started the great pursuit of the German
forces across northern France towards the German border. By early fall of 1944, General George S.
Patton's Third Army had raced across France faster than anyone had envisioned and was in place to
cross the Moselle River in the Lorraine area. Here his forces would face supply issues due to their
speed of advance, increasing resistance from prepared German forces, and ... Show more content on

Meanwhile, the US First Army would cross the Rhine and help capture the Ruhr from the south. The
secondary Allied focus was General George S Paton's Third Army in the south, who was to cross the
Moselle, capture Metz and Nancy, cross the Rhine River and capture the Saar area.
One of Field Marshall Montgomery's main objectives was the capture of the port city of Antwerp.
The Allies wanted to use the port as a supply base for the final push into Germany. Field Marshall
Montgomery preferred a single Allied front along his path into Germany, while US General Omar
Bradley preferred a broad front advance. Unfortunately, the Low Countries had a political objective
as well; protecting London. The Germans were launching their V–1 and V–2 rockets at London
from Belgium. Bradley preferred a broad front advance because if the Third Army was able to
advance quickly enough past Metz and Nancy to the West Wall, which was unmanned at the time,
Patton could capture the Saar industrial area. Plus using a broad front would force the Germans to
spread their forces out along their entire front, reducing resistance.
At first, on August 23, 1944, Allied Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower approved of
Montgomery's plans for a single thrust into Germany. For a time this gave Montgomery priority on
supplies, especially gasoline. However on September 2, Eisenhower was convinced by Patton that
his army could

A new platform would be more lethal, more effective, and more reliable than the M4.
A major concerned with the M4 is that the M4 is prone to jamming and malfunctioning due to
fouling. Fouling is casued by carbon residue build up inside the weapon system. In combat
situations the M4 has been unreliable, because the weapon misfires. M4 malfunctions include failure
to fire, failure to eject, failure to chamber a round, and failure to feed. The Army conduct a dust test
in 2007 for testing M4A1 reliability. The Army testers and engineers selected ten M4s and three
other weapon systems shot 6000 rounds in the dust chamber. M4 has 683 stoppages and perform the
worst against other weapons. In other words, the M4 jammed every 68 rounds (Lowes, 2007). The
other selected weapons are the Heckler & Koch 416, XM8, and the FN SCAR. (Lowes, 2007). The
XM8 jammed every 472 rounds and the HK 416 jammed every 257 rounds. The XM8 has the
lowest stoppage rate. If the Army adopted one of these three weapons, it will significantly increases
reliabilities in the combat zone. The second issue with the M4A1 is also closely related to
malfunction. The M4 is easy to overheat after prolonged firing. There 's two factors that cause this
problem. The first factor is the high pressure and high velocity round shooting out from the barrel.
The other factor is the gas operation mechanism of the M4A1 uses hot air recycle into

Narrative-Simon Test
Disclaimer none of what I am about to say is real and you should not try this at all. It was April 1st
and so far everything was going just as I wanted. "Today is going to be a great day!" "Hey, what are
you up to Leo!" Simon said. "Just heading to History right now." "Oh cool!" Simon replied. "Wow,
what a nice guy." "Ding–dong!" "Time to head to first period!" "Hello!" said Mrs.McGann. "Good
Morning" I replied. I looked up on the board and saw that we had a test today. "What could possibly
go wrong?" I studied throughout the week and was confident I would ace the test After everyone
arrived in the classroom Mrs. McGann passed out the tests. "Number five." I ran up to the front of
the board. About thirty minutes later I was completely done with the ... Show more content on

"Bleep!" I calculate my grade and it turns out to be a seventy–two. "Well, it seems that the class
average is an eighty–nine! Great job guys!" Then someone behind me asks what the lowest grade
was. "The lowest grade was a seventy–two." "Who got a seventy–two?" "Let's see" "Calm down
Leo just calm down everything is ok." "The person who got a seventy–two..." "It was Leo!" "That's
it!" I throw the clicker at Mrs. McGann's head. "Hm Hm, headshot!" I grab the M4 Carbine from
Mrs. McGann's desk and begin shooting. Then someone yells, "Stop shooting you dumb butt we're
on the same team!" "What the Mr. Ali!" "If I come back to class I will get roasted by my students!
Especially 6th period" "Yep!" I laugh. I shoot his head. "That's for not coming back!" Then my
instincts kick in again. "Kayla! Whoops, I mean Derrick!" I walked through the halls and leaving the
room with the door completely open to make it look less suspicious. I hear fire music playing in the
bathroom. I walk in and see Derrick come out of the stall. "Got you!" And after that, I pretty much
knew what I had to do. I checked his pants. "All clear!" I

U.S. Marine Corps Weapons: 1940s and Today A lot of men see the differences in generations
within the military, but few can see that early military formed everything in to the way the military
is today. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the Marine infantryman's basic
weapons of the 1940s and today, to include the rifle, machine guns and anti–tank weapons. In the
1940s every U.S. Marine was issued and carried with him where ever he went, a 9.5 lb, 43.5 inches,
M1 Garand. The body of the weapon was made from a solid piece of wood and the barrel was
fabricated from a solid piece of medal witch chambered a 7.62x51 ... Show more content on

The M249 fires a 5.56x45 millimeter round that can fire up to 850 rounds per minute from a 100
round linked drum and can accurately engage a target out to 1,000 yards. Just like its 1940s
counterpart it is used on the front lines for its light weight and maneuverability. The M249 will soon
be replaced with the M27. The medium weight machine gun that is in use today is the M240G
which weighs in at 25.6 lbs at 49.7 inch's. The M240G can fire up to 950 rounds per minute from a
100 round linked drum and can accurately engage and eliminate a target out to 1,800 yards. The
M240G, just like the M1919, fires a 7.62x51 millimeter and was placed on the front lines and in
aircrafts for its high caliber and its high rate of fire. Lastly the heavy machine gun that we use today
is the same that was used in the 1940s, the M2. There have been very few changes, such as parts
made out of lighter medals. The last class of weapons to cover is the main anti–tank weapons.
During the 1940s the main anti–tank weapon is also one of the most famous weapons that were on
the battle field, the M9, also known as the Bazooka. The M9 weighed in at 14.3 lbs unloaded at 61
inches. The warhead itself weighed in at 3.5 lbs and was a 57 millimeter caliber and consisted of a 1
lb shape charge that could penetrate up to 4 inches of armor. The warhead was only accurate out to
120 yards, which is getting close to a tank for a shot, but could be fired out to 500 yards. As the M9

Narrative Essay On Coptic Americans
As we pulled into 145 Oak Street, Natick, MA on Christmas Eve 2011, instead of being greeted by
fellow church parishioners, we were greeted by armored soldiers equipped with M4 Carbine assault
rifles. Instead of Honda Odysseys and Ford Focuses filling the adjacent parking lot, a giant tank
loomed over the empty spots. I was only twelve and was very confused. I had never experienced
such trouble simply going to church any other Sunday. What made this time so different? Now,
flashback almost two weeks. Since the Coptic calendar is arranged to celebrate Christmas on
January 7, this would be around the time of Western Christmas. Tensions in Egypt were on the rise,
and the Coptic community could sense that something was going to happen. Unfortunately,
something did. On New Year's Eve 2011, twenty–three Coptic Orthodox Christians were killed in an
attack on a church in Alexandria and a hundred more were injured. Despite the attack taking place
over five thousand miles away, I felt that they were not only ... Show more content on

Years of persecution have seen babies snatched from their mothers and churches burned to the
ground before the eyes of those who worshiped there just last Sunday. Yet the Coptic community
remains united and stronger than ever. I never truly realized the potential power of this strength until
I witnessed it first hand. In an effort to learn more about my Coptic origins, I set out on my own
personal journey. When I went to Egypt this past summer, I found the stories of the Coptic people
painted on the walls of the ancient churches. These walls had been scratched, shot at, burned, and
defaced throughout years of Christian persecution, but they still stood tall. These murals have
survived the test of time because they hold the stories of those whose strength transcended the body.
Their stories, passed on from one generation to the next, are, in essence, written in

Factors that Affected the Outcome of World War Two Essay
Factors that Affected the Outcome of World War Two
There were many factors that affected the outcome of World War Two. Some of these were how
many tanks you had, how powerful your tanks were, and how well they were built. The Allies had
the most tanks in the war and this was one of the main things that helped them win. The Germans
had the most powerful tanks in the war, but the allies out numbered them. The Allies using light and
medium tanks in big groups against the Germans powerful tanks was the main thing that helped
them win World War Two.
During World War Two there were many different types of tanks. They were put into categories
depending on weight and armament. There were four main categories of tanks: heavy tanks, medium

This led to American tanks being very maneuverable and mechanically reliable, but there was hardly
enough gun power and usually not enough protection. The Soviet designers put firepower first, and
made protection and mobility equal in second. Their tanks always had good guns, enough
protection, and they were fast, but they were not as reliable as the designers wanted. The British
designers put protection first, mobility second, and firepower third. This led to some failures. By
putting firepower last the guns on the British tanks weren't powerful enough to harm German tanks.
The Germans had the most powerful tank force out of all the countries fighting in World War Two.
Their tank force was composed in 1939 and had 3,195 vehicles in all. During World War Two the
Germans used the Blitzkrieg or lightning strategy, which was very effective. They also put all their
tanks into panzer divisions. These panzer divisions were a big success during the first two years of
the war. Other countries came up with formations similar to the panzer divisions. This led to a
drastic increase in tank production for the Germans. Starting in 1942 they rearmed all of their tanks.
They made them bigger, heavier, have more armor, and they added bigger guns. The main tanks that
they upgraded were the Pz. IV and the Tiger Tank. They also introduced the Panther medium tank
around this time. The Panther medium

As a beginner level Gunsmith, you don't need an extensive shop. You can start in a garage or
dedicated room in the home conducting simple repairs, cleaning or sight installation. Only the basic
tools will be needed, and other Gunsmith's contact information should be kept in a file to aid you. In
your shop you should have an area for all records organized into sections labeled inventory,

  • 4. Assault Weapons Persuasive Speech I'm sure that you have heard all the ramble about "assault weapons" (these weapons are actually called AR–15s) and how they should be banned from use of the public. Well I disagree; there's much for politicians to learn about these weapons, which is one of the biggest problems. These weapons are actually not dangerous tools for murderers and psychopaths, as they are made out to be. They are sporting and hunting rifles that can be outfitted for a variety of jobs for the public. AR–15s should absolutely remain legal in the United States as the are more than just weapons of mass destruction: they can be used for safety and defence, they actually aren't assault weapons at all, they are surprisingly good for hunting applications, most of the people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... " For example, assault weapons are equipped with large–capacity ammunition magazines that allow the shooter to fire 20, 50, or even more than 100 rounds without having to reload. Pistol grips on assault rifles and shotguns help stabilize the weapon during rapid fire and allow the shooter to spray–fire from the hip position. Barrel shrouds on assault pistols protect the shooter's hands from the heat generated by firing many rounds in rapid succession," is what some anti gunners say. Most political representatives say that they have high capacity magazines which are to unnecessarily large to be useful. They claim that they are overkill. These same people do not know anything about these weapons, if they did they would understand that a 30 round magazine is what comes standard to these weapons. High capacity magazines that hold up to 150 rounds are available through purchase but do not come with the gun. Another argument is that they have to high of a rate of fire. They think that this will enable people to spray many rounds into a crowd or in an attempt to hurt someone. On the other hand these guns are not fully–automatic like the ones the military use. They are semi–automatic which means that one round is fired per–trigger pull. • 6. The Most Traditional Side of Firearm Usage in America For generations and generations guns have been the icon of america. Guns can protect you from criminals and dangerous situations. They surround us everyday, whether it be law enforcement personnel, in movies, or advertisements. Guns can not only be used to protect the individual but also the population from a tyrannical government, which is exactly why the founding fathers were so intent on making guns the forefront of what america is all about. The down side to having guns so relevant in society is the fact that often it can fall into the wrong hands. The vast majority of american households have at least one fire arm in the house. This is mostly because there is more of a comfort that people feel when they believe they could fend of a possible intruder or attacker. Those that do not have firearms trust that the police will take care of whatever situation might present itself. The average response time for the police is on average roughly 10 – 15 minutes. The average response time for a .357 magnum is 1300 feet per second. So using a .357 to shoot a target standing 1ft away is 900 times faster than waiting 15 minutes for a police officer. Many people have perished waiting for police while their home has been burglarized. Thor is from the planet Asgard, where he lived with his parents Odin and Jord and his adopted brother Loki. Eventually, Thor would leave Asgard to come to earth and protect humans from all that is evil. Thor embodies the stereotypical Norseman: burly, long hair, a large beard, and a heavy eater and drinker. The use of mercenaries dates back to medieval ages, where kings and queens frequently hired them to fight battles in their name, and handle revolts and rebellions. However, the industry of hired soldiers was driven underground, and became nothing more than a whisper on the tongues of those who sought to use them for small conflicts and issues. Ironically, the development of drones and high tech weaponry has caused a revolution in the world of soldiers of fortune, and their presence in the battlefield is not unheard of in these violent times. So, knowing that they're back, why haven't we employed them globally? Well, the answer is that it's simply hard to trust these combatants; after all, mercenaries have a notorious history of abandoning their original contractors for a higher bidder. Furthermore, having to keep them in check is a hassle; the US typically prefers for these corporations to abide by a ruleset on what they can and cannot use during armed conflicts. The issue with this is that we would be handicapping our own soldiers, and the risk of letting them use banned military equipment is simply too much. It is clearly written in the Second Amendment of the Constitution that the people will have the right to bear arms. Recently; however, people have been misusing those firearms and have been harming others with them. The government is trying to regulate the sale, distribution, and ownership of guns because of this reason. Some of the arguments being made by the politicians is simply if the government has the right to be able to control, and if it does, the effectiveness of the public policy to regulate guns. The importance of gun control as a health issue is a necessity. "Each year, the United States has a bit over 8,000 murders with firearms" (Wilblin 1) "The US ... The constitution is clearly saying all citizens have the right to be able to own and carry a weapon or firearm. On June 26, 2008, in District of Columbia v. Heller, the United States Supreme Court held in a 5–4 decision that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self–defense within the home and within federal enclaves (Cornell 1). This is showing how our founding fathers supported the right to bear arms. Ownership of certain weapons should be prohibited. Assault rifles and submachine guns are firearms that are never necessary. The United States should set a goal to having fewer high–power weapons available. However, the only situation to these firearms being more acceptable to use than others, are the warlike scenarios. War is a complex series of political events that leads to physical involvement in the form of armed combat. By 1961 both the United States and Vietnam had developed a broad array of guns and weapons to fight off one another. The M–16 is infamous for its accuracy on the battlefield especially at longer ranges. Both assault rifles share the same 5.56mm projectiles, which provides significant stopping power. The M–203 grenade launcher was a muzzle–loaded grenade that fit under the barrel of assault rifles such as the M–16. The 40mm grenade was used to provide additional fire support in a gunfight. The high explosive had a range of 400m and a blast radius of 5m. Before the M–203, infantry used a weapon called the M–79 grenade launcher. Which largely resembled a sawn off shotgun. The M–79 was designed to take up the gap between maximum hand grenade distance, and minimum mortar fire distance. It could fire an array of projectiles which included darts, buck shots, smoke, gas and flares. The M–79 was ideal in Vietnam terrain. Muskets used in the American Revolutionary War were outdated and inaccurate when it came to the Civil War. The introduction of the rifle into the Federal Army put the Northern Army leagues ahead of the Southern Army at the battlefield. Because of the highly industrial based economy in the North, the usage of rifled bore firearms became widespread in the Federal Army. Similarly, in the Colt Revolver, there was a cylinder containing the bullets that were to be shot from the Revolver thereby maximizing the efficiency of weapons. In addition to advancements in smaller firearms, the US military also saw improvements in the sector of long range rifles. Muzzle loading muskets from the Revolutionary War were highly inefficient and and extremely dangerous to use. When on the battlefield, trying to load a muzzle loading musket became very complicated. While my grandfather stood in the giant shadow of a 30– foot armed tower, 500–acres of Californian dessert enclosed nearly 12,000 Japanese Americans. In 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 authorizing the removal and detainment of anyone in military territory. When "armed police went door to door rounding up Japanese Americans and ordering them straight to the camps" as my grandfather asserted, America's national fear was exploited. My grandfather at the age of sixteen, lost his home, his family, and notably continued to face several obstacles postwar. Thousands of Japanese Americans during the 1940's, including Ichiro in John Okada's No–No Boy, have had their lives reshaped by new territories, boundaries and inner conflicts. The lost of family and friends was prevalent as racial prejudices intensified throughout the nation. While thousands of innocent families were victimized in the Japanese interment camps and imprisonments during WWII, the overwhelming distress led to corrupt relationships and inner turmoil. "After abandoning everything in our home, everything my parents had worked for, I was met by assault rifles, searchlights and quarters too small for the amount of people it accommodated" my grandfather assured. California 's new enacted laws about gun control in the state range from abolishing certain features on weapons to restricting certain handguns or other firearms a person might buy. These people are friends, teachers, parents, and co–workers. Yes, people think differently and have their own ideas, so naturally they want everything to go as they think best. As hard as it is to see, they might not in fact have the best idea. When learning to deal with difficult people it can be complicated. In this world there are many types of difficult people: people who complain about anything, who often close up, and don't talk at all. I personally work with an individual who is like this. Whenever she is confronted with a new task she freezes and doesn't speak a word. People whom I work with have learned to be very patient with this young girl and have learned to talk to her and calm her. People who close up when others try and talk to them about a problem or situation are categorized as clams. A clam is a type of person who is very antisocial; these people think that when they express their ideas they will be made fun of or in fact become embarrassed. When coping with these people it is best to talk to them and calm them down. Start by making conversation and make them feel comfortable, and then address the situation. The Allied Forces had landed in Normandy in June 1944, and by the summer had broken out of their beachhead. This started the great pursuit of the German forces across northern France towards the German border. By early fall of 1944, General George S. Meanwhile, the US First Army would cross the Rhine and help capture the Ruhr from the south. The secondary Allied focus was General George S Paton's Third Army in the south, who was to cross the Moselle, capture Metz and Nancy, cross the Rhine River and capture the Saar area. One of Field Marshall Montgomery's main objectives was the capture of the port city of Antwerp. The Allies wanted to use the port as a supply base for the final push into Germany. Field Marshall Montgomery preferred a single Allied front along his path into Germany, while US General Omar Bradley preferred a broad front advance. Unfortunately, the Low Countries had a political objective as well; protecting London. The Germans were launching their V–1 and V–2 rockets at London from Belgium. Bradley preferred a broad front advance because if the Third Army was able to advance quickly enough past Metz and Nancy to the West Wall, which was unmanned at the time, Patton could capture the Saar industrial area. Plus using a broad front would force the Germans to spread their forces out along their entire front, reducing resistance. At first, on August 23, 1944, Allied Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower approved of Montgomery's plans for a single thrust into Germany. For a time this gave Montgomery priority on supplies, especially gasoline. Narrative Essay On Coptic Americans As we pulled into 145 Oak Street, Natick, MA on Christmas Eve 2011, instead of being greeted by fellow church parishioners, we were greeted by armored soldiers equipped with M4 Carbine assault rifles. I had never experienced such trouble simply going to church any other Sunday. What made this time so different? Now, flashback almost two weeks. Since the Coptic calendar is arranged to celebrate Christmas on January 7, this would be around the time of Western Christmas. Tensions in Egypt were on the rise, and the Coptic community could sense that something was going to happen. Unfortunately, something did. On New Year's Eve 2011, twenty–three Coptic Orthodox Christians were killed in an attack on a church in Alexandria and a hundred more were injured. Their stories, passed on from one generation to the next, are, in essence, written in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Their tanks always had good guns, enough protection, and they were fast, but they were not as reliable as the designers wanted. The British designers put protection first, mobility second, and firepower third. This led to some failures. By putting firepower last the guns on the British tanks weren't powerful enough to harm German tanks. The Germans had the most powerful tank force out of all the countries fighting in World War Two. Their tank force was composed in 1939 and had 3,195 vehicles in all. During World War Two the Germans used the Blitzkrieg or lightning strategy, which was very effective. They also put all their tanks into panzer divisions. These panzer divisions were a big success during the first two years of the war. Other countries came up with formations similar to the panzer divisions. This led to a drastic increase in tank production for the Germans. Starting in 1942 they rearmed all of their tanks.
