This document provides information and guidelines for a 2012-13 Urban Forestry and Education Grant Program that provides $250,000 for tree planting and care projects with an environmental education component. Eligible projects can receive up to $10,000 and must include an educational aspect when planting or caring for trees. The application process and eligible costs are outlined. Projects will be reviewed based on responses to 10 questions and should demonstrate outputs and outcomes related to community participation and environmental education.
