2. THE PRO’S
The plus side
The positive
What are you gaining
3. CONVENIENCE
You can be comfortable:
Wear what you please
Less chance of distractions
Go at your own pace for classes
Vast number of topics to chose from
Less expensive than a traditional class
4. Everyone is welcome ( equal opportunity )
Easy access:
All you need is a strong internet signal & the desired site to watch
clips or full videos
No need for transportation, travel, etc.
5. THE CON’S
Ask yourself :
What are you missing out on?
How is it effecting you personally?
Is this better than being in the actual environment?
6. THE HANDS ON APPROACH
You are limiting the hands on experience by not being able
to learn with an actual teacher / instructor present
If you need help or want to go more in depth in that subject
you have to search for another video URL, instead of being able
to connect person to person
Your spending more time on your electronic device rather
actually doing what you wanted to learn first hand
7. Not being able to interact with classmates
May not be your preferred learning style ( we all learn
differently )
The Wi-Fi may roam or be out of signal
8. BOTTOM LINE
Whether you’re an digital immigrant or native, both methods are
useful & effective.
It really comes down to your personal preference & schedule
Videos are great if you are in a hurry to learn, but if you want to
fully grasp the concept traditional classes generally suite most people
