5. Punctuation
Every sentence ends with punctuation.
There are only three types of punctuation that can end a sentence. You can
use one of the following

an exclamation mark !
6. A Complete thought
A baby cried. a complete thought
Is fixing the roof. incomplete thought Who is fixing the roof?
The waiter. incomplete thought What about the waiter?
At the store. Incomplete thought What happened?
7. Subject and Predicate
The subject tells you who or what the sentence is about.
There is always a noun.
A noun is a person, place or thing.
The predicate tells you about the subject.
It will always include a verb.
A verb is an action word.
