From my IPC Case studies, they sell magazines to a wide audience
such as women from upper class, women from the mass market
class and men. In their current portfolio, they sell magazines such
as Now, NME, Marie Claire, Ideal Home. There is a variety of
themes that are sold to an everyday kind of audience such as
upper class, mass market and youth, although according to IPC
Case portfolio, the audiences were upper class women, mass
market women and men. The IPC has been awarded one the best
distributors for three years running and they employ 200 people a
year, which then my product could increase employment and out
standing retail performance.
3. I think my magazine might introduce a different audience for
IPC, as I have a broad kind of audience
to the youth. Also from their portfolio magazines
like NME, it became number 1 after their
distribution in the 1950s because that was an era when
music
became increasing popular. This suggests there is another
chance for my magazine to become increasingly popular as it
is another new music magazine in this company but it may
not reach the potential the NME did because my product
promotion will have to compete with other magazines such
as Q, Rolling Stone and Kerrang.

The sales promotion are competitive as from one their
last promotion, they gave £1 to a winner for correct

office and let them plan the promotions and review it,
to see if it will be a successful distribution.
