2. Presenting my initial ideas to the class
I presented my first initial ideas using powerpoint including the performance
and narrative aspects of video. Also I thought it was key to explain how it
creates a star image.
4. Using feedback
• From my feedback, my group and I compiled all
of our notes and began with a shortlist of all of
our ideas and pitches and having 9 ideas we can
work off. From my Jazz bar, Psychedelic, and
abandoned library pitchs as a group we decided
that only the Psychedelic video would be actually
possible but it will need some tweaking.
• Percy had 3 really good ideas but some of them
were quite unbelievable and using snakes in one
ruled it out straight away and as our group wants
to make our video individual we also ruled out the
DJ in a club idea as it has been made too many
time already. However we did really like Percy's
idea where a band member walks through a tv
and changes into a different location.
• Finally Tom pitched his ideas including a Rapper
in a chair and is in a jungle, and a house party
but his best idea was include a special camera
called the Nimslo 3D where it would add a loop
effect and add a psychedelic vibe too however it
was filmed in London and we didn't really wanted
to do it on location like that.
8. What changed after Luke.
• After Lukes feedback the biggest change was the change in the
song. This was because we felt that we were working on too
hard of a song. We then moved genre to indie rock.
• Also we came up with a new Idea to explore pastel colours and
have a new narrative that was a lot more stylised
