 Building and maintaining goodwill with all trade channels and ensuring
rapport with the community where we operate so as to ensure
customer satisfaction and acquire customer loyalty
• Ensuring Penetration and Availability of appropriate Brand Portfolio
 Ensures that all dealer sales personnel are well aware of the prevailing
Trade Product Standards (TPS) set forth by the company throughout all
retail and wholesale outlets
 Ensures that the appropriate brand portfolio is available in all outlets
thereby achieving sales volume, penetration,& availability targets for all
accounts covered by sales and distribution team
• Managing all Dealer Sales Personnel in the District
 Recommends in the selection and hiring people for the dealer and
distributor sales organization
 Ensures proper training and development of all sales and admin
personnel
 Oversees the personnel’s adherence to the company’s guidelines on
their duties and responsibilities and implements corrective measures if
necessary
 Influence the dealer/distributor to implement appropriate HR systems
and programs, so as to ensure the welfare of all personnel and
upholding GSMI-SMC code of conduct
• Maximizing Distribution Efficiency
 Monitors & evaluates retail sales and wholesale sales productivity in
terms of sales volume vs target, directly served outlets vs total selling
universe, plans and implements programs to optimize distribution
efficiency
• Overseeing Conducts of Merchandising and Promotions
 Initiates effort to maintain enough inventory of all merchandising and
promotional materials in the area
 Coordinates with the Head Office for the conceptualization and
implementation of appropriate promotional activities and events in the
district so as to optimize volumes
 Leads his sales personnel in the proper implementation and distribution
of all merchandising and existing promotions in the area
 Manages and implements all events and promotional activities that
leads to brand awareness and sales growth
• Managing Information and Strategical/Tactical Planning
 Ensures the availability and updates of pertinent area operation
information such as: list of directly served retail and wholesale outlets,
per route itinerary, district maps, historical volumes, historical market
share readings, etc.
 Reviews and analyzes information for strategical/tactical planning and
decision making purposes
 Sets and reviews specific objectives for his area as benchmark
 Leads in the preparation of annual strategic/tactical sales and marketing
plans and forecast of the area to provide inputs in the decision making
of the dealer/distributor on strategies to further increase revenue and
profits
• Managing Dealer/Distributor Inventory
 Implementation of proper inventory management through overseeing
dealer delivery coordination with the physical distribution/logistics
department to ensure the maintenance of the required inventory and
days level in the area warehouses
